All round great place to stay. Close to city centre, shops, restaurants and amenities. Clean, warm and attractive. Only downside is TV reception, especially BBC channels. Breakfast was tasty, with good service. We stayed in The Burns room, which was very comfortable, with a really nice shower room.

My week in Edinburgh was amazing and Ard-na-said made it even better. A beautiful guest house, that had everything you could ask for: comfort, luxury, delicious breakfast for all tastes and an ideal location. Our host Steven was always present and ready to help with anything we needed and made us feel at home. Next time I visit Edinburgh I...

I spent a really good time at Ard-Na-Said! It is a welcoming place, run by Steven (and his parents), who made me feel confortable during all the stay. He also cooked us a delicious breakfast! The place is very clean and my bedroom was spacious, with enough storage facilities. Located in a quiet neighborhood, we could easily reach the center...

Ard-na-said is a beautiful period building, perfectly located in a peaceful area with incredible views of Arthur's Seat, but also very close to the city centre (Princes Street, Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle are all within a 10-minute bus journey). The rooms are big, warm and comfortable, and all have their own private bathroom. Our host Steven mentioned that they had...

My partner and I came to to visit Edinburgh's popular christmas market and to experience a real Scottish ''Hogmanay'' during the festive period. During my stay I stayed in the Baird room , we were the first guests to stay in the room since it had been decorated. The room was small but comfortable and reasonably priced. The room itself...

Had a wonderful visit. Location is a short bus ride from the Royal Mile, with beautiful views of the hills from the bedroom windows. Room was large and comfortable, plush, and well-stocked with amenities. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Food was excellent. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Small area for parking to get your car off the street. Nice views to Arthurs Seat from some rooms. Worth a visit if you are looking for decent place near bus route for city yet in a...

We came up to Edinburgh to meet up with a few friends. We found this B&B on Booking.com and the price was pretty good in comparison to everywhere else in Edinburgh. The building is lovely, as were Steven and his parents. It's about a 20 minute walk from the centre and right next to Arthur's Seat. There's a few restaurants...
