We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of August. The apartments were spotlessly clean, in a stunning location overlooking the harbour, quiet and extremely well equipped with everything you'd need including loo roll, washing up liquid, toiletries, dishwasher tabs etc plus tea, coffee and milk sachets. The apartment was spacious with very comfortable beds, and the views were breathtaking (our apartment was opposite the Royal Yacht Britannia but you could see the castle and Calton Hill from the stunning floor to ceiling windows in the lounge). There is a bus stop about 3-4 mins walk from the entrance with regular buses into the centre (approx 20 mins) so no car is necessary - aa adult day ticket costs £4 for unlimited journeys. Close by, approx 5-6 mins walk is a large 24 hour Asda supermarket plus plenty of eating places along the harbour. The Ocean Terminal shopping centre is approx 10 mins walk away. Booking and checking in/out was superb, contact free and very easy and they offer late checkout for a small hourly fee up until midday. Would totally recommend these apartments to anyone wanting a break in this beautiful city.

We stayed here for 5 nights in July. Check in was quick and easy using the Key Cafe. We were very pleasantly surprised with the apartment. We were on the top floor and had a corner apartment with fantastic views of the harbor from the floor to ceiling windows in the open plan living area as well as from one of the bedrooms and the balcony. From the other bedroom the views were of the Royal Yacht and the castle in the distance.

The area was very quiet but within easy reach of Edinburgh center by Uber and also easy to drive further afield to Queensferry etc. The free parking is very useful to have and the quiet location has some nice walks out to lighthouse and along the waters edge to relax on an evening. There are dining options within easy reach, lots of options for deliveries from Just Eat as well as an Asda if you feel like cooking.

The apartment was very clean and exceptionally well furnished with everything you could need in the kitchen, including a sensible sized fridge freezer and dishwasher. There are very comfortable beds, sofas etc. It also had a very good sound system, good in apartment laundry facilities and a good supply of hot water. Unfortunately (probably due to Covid) the mid stay replenish of good did not occur so we had to buy some more dishwasher tablets but that was no big deal. The only suggestion for improvement would be to have mirrors in the bedrooms as well as in the hallway so that more than one person can use them at a time.

Overall a very enjoyable stay and I can recommend the late checkout to allow you time for a leisurely brunch on the balcony before heading home.

Booked the Exec Apartment which had a great view across the harbour and out to the east along the Firth of Forth.
Reasonably well maintained - one issue the the lift stopped functioning one evening and the apartment was on the 6th floor!
Warm and comfortable. Great washing facility and option to dry clothes. Appreciate that the team set up the apartment for 8 to have dinner on Christmas day adding additional crockery and cutlery and seats.
Car park under the apartments is very useful. WiFi was a bit dodgy and we needed to get access to the paid for version - although not charged!.

This was our second visit. Great location, easy to book and great staff who were helpful with our late arrival and few queries that arose while there

Stayed for 3 nights over the rugby weekend in apartment which was ideally located, easy to find and had a nice view, despite appalling weather

However, these apartments have clearly seen better days and the attention to detail is somewhat lacking. For an overnight stay, one could cope,. BUT, where there is a plan to eat in and cook with several adults, and one assumes kids as well, there is a massive shortfall in what one would expect to be provided.

Our apartment had no coffee pot, no tea pot, a single tea towel, non of the plates matched, the glasses were probably the cheapest that could be found in the shops, the very basic cooking implements, a TV remote control that was so used it was impossible to read any of the buttons. Several plugs were dead and of most concern was the fact that the over shelf was clearly from another oven and did not fit. We only discovered this when it fell to the over floor after a pyrex dish full of hot liquid caused it to collapse.

For the money being charged and the market these properties are aimed at - a much closer to detail would achieve a lot more. Very tired and in need of a serious management review

Underground parking excellent

Beautiful and very comfortable apartment. We were upgraded and had a lovely balcony with views of Edinburgh and Britannia, a lovely view to wake up to. Comfortable beds and excellent facilities. It is a light and airy apartment and very close to the bus route straight into the city. An easy walk to a large Asda on the other side of the dock which sells everything you need. It is also near bus stops to the airport but due to road closures we decided to take a bus back into the city and catch the tram to the airport.
Staff were very helpful and friendly especially with the limitations of COVID and looked after our luggage both on arrival and departure so we could see the city. As we had an early arrival flight, we checked in and as our apartment wasn’t ready they looked after our luggage and took it to the accommodation so we could see the city and have a meal. On departure, again, they kindly looked after our luggage so we could enjoy the last few hours in the city and catch our later flight home.
I would really recommend these apartments as it’s a good location and only a 20-30 min bus ride and cheaper than the city hotels and the facilities enable you to be self sufficient.

Apartments are well situated in Leith with plenty shops and restaurants nearby .
Apartments are well maintained and quite spacious ,all have large windows so are bright and airy . Unfortunately one of the bedroom windows didn’t open and that room was always hot and stuffy . Kitchen was adequately equipped apart from pans - a set of 3 but all rather small for cooking a meal for 4 !
Our friends had an apartment on the top floor which was much larger than ours and had a balcony so obvious there are different grades of apartments .

We regard the apartments as our second home as we visit frequently which speaks for itself!
They are warm, well equipped and the view across to the Royal Yacht Britannia is pleasant.
It is convenient to park in the underground car park and transfer luggage easily from car to apartment by the lift. The supermarket is handy as is the bus service from outside the apartments to Princes Street for £1.70 single, £4.00 day ticket. It is certainly not worth the hassle and expense of parking in Edinburgh. Plenty to see and do and a comfortable home base...what more could a traveller want?

The apartment was as described. The situation was excellent for catching a bus into Edinburgh and from there to various other places. A day ticket costs £4.50 but beware all the roadworks yo install a tram system in the city which we understand have been ongoing for some considerable time . I would have given this a higher rating had it not been for the poor equipment at the apartment particularly the paucity of crockery and the very poor quality of the glassware. When you return home after a day sightseeing you do not want to drink a glass of wine from glasses that are no better than jam jars.

We have just returned from these great apartments. We were on the 5th floor, so had a brilliant view of the harbour and we could see the HMS Britannia yacht in the distance. It was fully equipped with everything you needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and good to have 2 bathrooms as we are a family of 4.

The bus stop is just on the other side of the raod, which takes you into the city of Edinburgh; number 10 or 11 and it only takes about 15 mins.
There is a massive ASDA store just a 10 min walk away and a little further is the Ocean terminal shopping centre. I would recommend seeing the HMS Britannia, which you access on the first floor of the Ocean shopping centre. It was very well organised, especially at this present tme with Covid safety procedures being so important. It was very interesting and well worth the money. we also had tea and cake in the lovely cafe on board, ehich was a real treat!
Also, recommend going to the Botannical Gardens: so big and reallly lovely; its also free to get in!
We would definitely return to the Ocean serviced apartments as we really enjoyed our stay and the fact it was nice and quiet.
