We only saw one member of the staff here in the three nights we stayed. She was nice enough, and the building is beautiful, but the rooms and small and very cold. Heating did not work and shower does not always have hot water. Also did not bother to assist in basic things like carrying suitcases up and down stairs....

Adelphi Hotel is located little away from the main city but convenient place to use public transport. The hotel is by the side of the park, and can enjoy a walk through.!! the lady in the hotel was very helpful. Rooms are comfortable, clean and big enough for two. We were in the basement, therefore restricted with the view of...

It may not be the fanciest or prettiest hotel but it was quiet, clean and perfect for £40 a night! Surrounding area of Leith is pretty, full of good pubs and restaurants and we found it to be quite safe! Definitely worth a look if you're on a budget. Also not as far away from Edinburgh centre as it looks...

I stayed there in beginning of September. The lady who ran this hotel was very nice. I was taken the the basement and it was freezing. The room next to me was boarded up and there was no heating! No central heating was put on. It was starting to chill at night and I would hate to be here in...

Excellent all round. Large room number 4. Great view of the park. All leith attractions within 10 minute walk. On road parking easy by hotel. Good selection of cafes and pubs all within that 10 minute walk. Traffic a little busy in the area but really happy with the hotel and staff.

The room was clean but very basic and compact! A bit over priced for what you got. The cleaners also need to learn to be quiet at 8am on a Sunday outside bedroom doors! They were speaking extremely loudly and at one point knocked on the door but thankfully didn't come in.

Whilst on holiday with my 2 year old we had to leave where we were staying at short notice so booked in here until our return flight home, unfortunately in my rush/panic I didn't mention when booking that I had a 2 year old with me and ended up with a room on the top floor, which when I arrive...

This place was perfect, great value, very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated, quiet and homely, more than enough amenities, much more than you expect from a standard B+B. En-suite Shower was great, bed was comfy, located in a lovely area opposite leith park and close to numerous great pubs and trendy restaurants. I truly can't understand why other reviews are...

This place is revolting. I am reporting them to environmental health. Just have a look at the photos and you will understand. It was only £55 but that's beside the point. Please pay a little extra and go elsewhere. The staff don't even speak any English and do not understand you. Can not express how angry I am that a...
