Casa Hamilton is a family-run B&B located approx 10 minutes walk from Edinburgh city centre. The property is in a restored Victorian house and offers three rooms combining period features and colourful handmade upcycled decorations. The property is child-friendly. I had a wonderful experience staying at this place and I highly recommend it! The hosts, Will and Ve, were exceptional in their customer service. Ve went above and beyond in accommodating a last-minute cancellation and even provided a full refund, which was not required according to the terms and conditions. I cannot thank them enough and would definitely stay here in the future!

Had the most amazing stay with Will & Ve. The bunk bed was comfy and the family so very friendly. Also, so close to the city center and supermarkets; it’s an ideal location to get anywhere via walking or busses. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Edinburgh!

Alright, our sample size might not be large enough to support these claims with much confidence, but Casa Hamilton was definitely our favourite stay during those 10 days we were traveling around Scotland (despite having had plenty of luck with other lovely homes and hosts) - and it will likely be difficult to find accommodation anywhere in the world that will parallel the amount of creative energy emanating from this beautifully furnished Victorian family house. We were very lucky that Will and Vi opened their doors for us as some of their first guests this year! - Sally & Hannes

We visited Edinburgh for the first time in December 2019. Our original plan was to go to Paris but because of a transportation strike we had to change plans last minute and I booked Casa Hamilton based on the location and the excellent reviews from Booking and Trip Advisor. I really didn't know what to expect since I'm not really used to staying at B&B's, however I trusted the reviews and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed at all. It was an amazing experience. From the minute we came in, the owner, Will made us feel very comfortable. The house is tastefully decorated with an eclectic and very creative type of decor. The room with the roman tub we stayed at was very quaint and spacious with a beautiful view of the nearby church. The bathroom was modern and also very spacious. Will was very pleasant from the first minute he greeted us. He took the time to give us directions to the city center which was very close and he also pointed out several recommendations. Next morning Will presented us with a delicious homemade breakfast and as the days went by we really felt like we were visiting a friend rather than staying at a hotel/B&B. Will was always very friendly and catering. I highly recommend this B&B if you are staying in Edinburgh! You will feel very comfortable and the walk to the city center through the meadows is absolutely beautiful. You can go either way, but take the meadows in the early morning hours for a beautiful walk.…

I had an amazing stay at Casa Hamilton. Will, does an amazing job at making you feel at home at Casa Hamilton. It was evident to myself as a guest at Casa Hamilton that Will takes great pride in ensuring that all of his guests have an enjoyable stay. Will was always open to any questions and requests and was very helpful in answering any questions about Edinburgh in general. The breakfast was exceptional, all of it fresh and cooked right in front of you. The beds, shower and bathroom were always clean. I have zero complaints as a guest at Casa Hamilton. I could not have asked for a better host to have on my first trip to Scotland. Thank you for all of your hospitality Will I greatly appreciate it. -Sofia xx

We had a 3 night stay at Casa Hamilton over Hogmanay. What a wonderful find! From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by Will, our lovely host. By the time we left, we felt like we had been staying with a friend, so much nicer than an anonymous hotel. The rooms were spotless, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious, with some interesting touches. The location is fabulous, just a short walk to the centre of Edinburgh, but very quiet as it is located on a side street. If we visit Edinburgh in the future, we would definitely stay here again.

Recently I travelled to Edinburgh to visit my daughter who is studying there, and stayed at the lovely Casa Hamilton Bed & Breakfast. We had a wonderful time! My daughter was preparing for exams and Will made her a desk to study at during our stay. It was perfect! We so appreciated the kindness, warm baths, beautiful room and delicious breakfasts, with an Italian touch! After a small hiccup with another Hotel, we found Casa Hamilton had a room to spare, Will welcomed us (at very last minute) with open arms! He couldn’t do enough to help us, from carrying our bags, recommending places to go and most of all providing us with the most amazing place to stay with the heartiest of breakfasts. We could have listened to Wills stories all day, we didn’t want to leave! Having to leave early in the AM to head back, Will provided us with a ‘to go’ breakfast and booked our taxi. All we can say is ‘WOW’, we both had never experienced hospitality and friendliness like this in previous ‘B&B’s’. We can’t thank you enough for being so welcoming and helpful, we felt right at home! We stayed 3 nights at Casa Hamilton and we loved every bit! Will is an excellent host and helped us in making our trip to Edinburgh perfect in every way. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazingly good. We will never forget the jamaican porridge with the Italian twist!! We would surely return and recommand this B&B to everyone.
