My family and I (2 children aged 3.5 and 5 month old) visited here for the weekend recently and it was everything we needed and more. The hut is clean, warm and well equipped and the bath hut was a fantastic treat. Katie and her family were so helpful and friendly - we visited the farm and my daughter got to feed the new baby lambs, so special! She also enjoyed picking eggs from the hens and cooking them for our breakfast :-) We had a BBQ on the first night and ordered the lamb burgers as an extra which were delicious. Katie also left us marshmallows to toast for afters! The farm itself is close to lots of attractions - we visited Pittencrieff park and Deep Sea World as well as crazy golf in Dunfermline only around a 15 minute drive away. We will definitely look to come back for another visit, my daughter hasn’t stopped talking about our trip :-) Thank you Katie and family for everything!

What a wonderful place to stay (I was nearby for work but it’s a very chilled and peaceful place to stay to unwind after the day) - a real treat, lovely rural location with loads of birds and farm animals, especially enjoyed watching the large flock of curlews and oyster catchers feeding in the fields. Really well appointed and thought out shepherds’ huts with everything you could need. The outside open fire pit which BBQ rack is wonderful. The wood burning stove inside creates a fabulously snug home and the family are so welcoming and helpful. I had some difficulties with my car and they went a lot more than the extra mile to help me get back on the road and get ahead of the oncoming snow. Perfect for one, couples and a family of 4 - you can experience the farm (lambing for me 😍) and feel truly welcome. Thank you Katie, Lewis and Logan - you made my stay so special. I would love to come again. I cannot recommend this magical place highly enough.

We had a really relaxing time. The huts are well appointed and clean, comfortable and tidy. If you get a chance, Nike Ewe View with the added bonus of the outside Bathhouse. Fantastic. Take breakfast too. Fresh warm bread and homemade produce.

We stayed in the Lamb Lookout Hut and it was wonderful. Everything worked as it should, there was a cake on our arrival and even marshmallows for the fire pit. All of these little details were great and very well thought out by Katie. Any and all queries were answered. The views were amazing and very peaceful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway 😊

Wonderful time spent at Craigduckie Shepherd hut-Lamb Lookout. Finished to a high standard with fabulous views. Absolutely gorgeous inside, comfy beds, luxurious towels and delicious Victoria Sponge. Katie and family were the nicest hosts and went that extra mile to ensure we had the best stay. Would highly recommend this little piece of heaven.

We can't recommend this place highly enough. The shepherd's huts are beautifully fitted out and everthing worked really well, from the fold-down bed mechanisms to the hot water. The outside baths make for a unique experience - my daughter said it was the best bath she had ever had and I would agree! We had a mix of weather - rain on the first day and spectacular sunset behind the fire pit on the next. We were super comfortable throughout. Katie is an excellent host - she thinks of everything.

We stayed for two nights in Ewe View and even the rain couldn’t dampen our experience. The hut had everything we could ask for and the double bath was a firm favourite of our young children. They loved playing on the double seat go kart and seeing round the farm, especially the baby chicks! Katie is a wonderful host and the welcome cake was delicious. We also ordered the breakfast basket which was plentiful, the fresh bread made the perfect bacon sandwich. Thanks for a brilliant stay

We had a lovely short stay at the shepherds huts. There was enough room for the four of us (two adults and two children (2.5 and 5). We couldn’t have felt more welcome. The huts are more spacious than we thought with loads of special touches. Picking your eggs in the morning for breakfast and fresh bread delivered was just amazing! It was quite windy at night but the huts are cosy and warm. Lovely bedding!

I don't normally leave reviews but I absolutely loved our 2 night stay at Criagduckie Shepherds huts. I went to Criagduckie Shepherds hut in April 2022 with my 7 year old daughter. Katie and family were absolutely brilliant. Really friendly, felt like old friends straight away and nothing was too much trouble. The Shepherds huts were beautiful and Katie has thought of everything you could need. I even managed to light the wood burner on the second night but there is also electric heating so we were always nice and cosy. My daughter loved the huts and the freedom including collecting the eggs from the chickens, cuddling the lambs and playing with Logan...she didn't ask for an ipad the whole time. Thank you to everyone for an experience we will both remember for a long time. We would love to come back!

We returned home from the most amazing weekend away last night. Craigduckie was everything we had hoped for and more. It is ultimately peace and relaxation with country views and beautiful scenery all around. Katie (Shepard huts owner) is so lovely, very chatty and the ultimate host. I honestly cannot fault anything about our weekend, the huts or our overall experience. We booked Ewe View for 2-night which has 2 outside luxury bathtubs complete with string lights for the ultimate wow experience. We also bought the breakfast hamper and pancake pack, both amazing. So much food in the breakfast hamper, made even more awesome by being able to collect your own freshly laid eggs from your nearby hen coup. The huts are small as you would expect but have everything you need, they are very clean and fresh with lovely crisp white bed linen and lovely extras such as a welcome homemade cake! Both our children had a fantastic time on the farm tour and was able to cuddle and bottle feed some lambs. The 2 farm dogs are super friendly as well as the farm black ram all of which my wee boy loved. If you want to venture a 5 minute drive away we can recommend the nearly village park. But honestly you do not need to venture off the farm just remember to bring your sense of adventure and a phone/camera to capture all the wonderful memories. Go to Craigduckie, you will not be disappointed! I’m having difficulty attaching photos to my review, but honestly once in a lifetime memories.
