One of the best hotel stays I've ever had in terms of staff hospitality and personal service. Even upon arriving, I was immediately upgraded to a larger room because I was staying for four nights. Very considerate. I used the very cosy bar lounge to do my work in the evening and they supplied me with free pots of tea...

A friendly, hotel with a good sized breakfast. The furnishings were in keeping with an older building, and the bed was comfortable. Heating was efficient which was great as it was a cold weekend outside! Has a small bar in the lounge, but we didn't use it. We chose this hotel as it was within walking distance of the town...

My partner and I stayed 1 night, we found very good. Room was good size and had everything we needed, breakfast was good and freshly cooked, it's a small hotel converted from a beautiful house, with good parking, short walk into the town centre. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, would stay there again

A lovely traditional B&B that offers a great service at great value - Only £45!! Fantastic breakfast set me up for the day. New owners are clearly investing in the business and it is paying dividends. A real gem and only 30 mins from Edinburgh

The hotel has a small bar with a cosy lounge,...

A lovely independent hotel in the heart of Dunfermline. Friendly welcome, very clean rooms, very comfy beds and the breakfast was excellent - a good choice and cooked perfectly. The hotel has an unusual and interesting history. The hotel is within walking distance to Pittencrief Park (The Glen), the Abbey and Palace, a decent High St, good rail links to...

Lovely friendly stay. The room was warm and comfortable, the bed was amazing and lovely deco. There was free wifi and all the usual extras in the room. Location was good with parking and about 15 mins walk into the centre. Breakfast was lovely with good quality sausage and bacon, lovely.

Very comfortable room. Welcoming hosts with good breakfast and small but well stocked bar. Would stay again. We had dinner at the hotel which was simple, but home cooked and very reasonably priced with very good coffee after in the lounge. Plenty of free parking at front of hotel.

Stayed here as a base for a wedding. A beautiful house at the end of a very quiet street close to the town centre with plenty of parking. Our room was a large double on the first floor. The room was very clean and fresh smelling (which doesn't always happen with house hotels!) with a large bathroom including a separate...
