Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely stay at this premier inn. Guy on reception was lovely. Comfy bed at premier inn as always. Cheap stay over. Good discount as i work for the company. The guy in the restaurant was the sweetest too. I cant remember his name on his name tag but he couldnt have been more attentive. I was in there between 3-4. Tall boy so shout out to him!

Hotel's Favourite
Had a lovely stay at the Premier inn in Glenrothes, booking was really easy, we did it online and paid for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was delicious and topped up very quickly. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist, I can't remember her name but she had lost her voice, but battled through it. The hotel is located just off a roundabout but it's far enough away that you can't hear the road noise, prefect for light sleepers. There is a few shops near by, all within a 5min walk, including a McDonald's. 5 out of 5

Stayed for the weekend recently and what can I say? This hotel never fails to provide service that would put alot of non budget hotels to shame! Check in was quick and friendly as usual with a new face Allan checking us in! David was on hand later in the evening to help us with some bits and pieces and was a great help! Rooms where spotless as usual. I can't sing this hotels praises enough and am always happy to return!

Considering it’s winter and I’m out in the cold all day room really cold especially first thing in a morning and on an evening. Not ideal at all. Receptionist’s fantastic. but premier inn must be saving on the heating bill. Asked for it sorted and no change. The brewer fair next door absolutely shocking. I work all round the UK in hotels every week and can honestly say the worst food Iv had. Not the slightest pride in presentation actually thrown together. ( yeah it’s only a brewers fair) my lettuce was black and there was one strand of lettuce on top I wouldn’t even feed it my dog, it was cold and been stood a long while.

Facilities were a little tired, moving next door to the Brewers Fayre for meals was an experience we did not enjoy. Serving staff were very pleasant, meal choice was dreadful, limited to 1 starter & 1 main dish.

I have stayed in quite a few Premier Inn hotels over the years. There’s usually a standard of fixtures & fittings you come to expect until you stay in Glenrothes. It’s tired and definitely needs investment. Carpets throughout the hotel look threadbare and unclean, everywhere could do with some redecorating & updating. My room was very basic & while the bathroom was clean the bedroom just looked very tired. Brewer’s Fayre for breakfast was uninspiring with orange squash rather than fresh orange. Coffee machine provided a “coffee light” experience, not a great amount of fresh fruit on offer. Anyway, I survived, nothing untoward happened but as a company there really needs to be investment in this hotel if it is to match the usual standard of a Premier Inn.

A great stay and very reasonably priced. The hotel had everything I needed for a one night business stay and was very clean. I chose a continental breakfast which was very fresh and tasty. Service was great, no problems at all. I would definitely recommend!
