The hotel is part of the Golf resort and has a quiet ambiance with the staff giving a good response and a welcoming help on arrival and throughout the stay. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities that were required with shower and toilet on suite. The food was simple but well cooked and was enjoyable. Although the...

Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Filthy, smell of musty old carpet and rooms in need of a desperate renovation. Bad quality breakfast. Our room was on the top floor and the heating didn't work properly. I would highlight that all the staff were friendly and helpful despite the condition of the hotel, which of course was...

Lovely building in dunnikier park on the outskirts of Kirkcaldy. Friendly staff, though with exception of the main rooms downstairs; the entire place needs renovating. Starting with the rooms which were appalling. None had been touched in at least 25+ years, stains on the carpets, bathrooms were nasty. Needs an investor whom is going to restore the building back too...

We used Dunnikier House Hotel once more for a social gathering after a funeral. This hotel has both character and atmosphere. Guests could lounge round the open fire in the hall and the dining room is fabulous. The room has character and a great outlook over the park. The spread was really good and the value for money could not...

Had a little weekend break away. The friendly, welcoming staff made our stay that little bit more special. The room was clean and it had a great view - we'll definitely be going to see them again soon.

Thought we would try the place for a bite to eat. It was easy to find and set within a public park/golf course and wooded area where we saw three dear feeding. The building in its day must have been magnificent but time and lack of maintainance has clearly taken its toll. Certainly unimpressed with the undefined entrance which was...

This has to be the worst Christmas dinner ever. The meal was a total disaster. The starter of cured duck ham was totally inedible, the turkey was dry and the roast beef was over cooked. The Christmas pudding was presented as a tray bake with a minimum portion served. All in all the whole meal was of a very poor...

After a long and arduous drive from Manchester to Kirkcaldy (6 hours of gruelling A roads!) we were met by a very polite team of staff who were kind enough to give us a chance to get a drink from the bar even though it was nearly midnight!, straight away we were grateful and felt at home, especially when we...

I would firstly just like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the hotel for being so kind to me during my recent stay. The hotel itself was immaculate. My room was on the second floor and was huge. Dinner menu was varied and the food was great. Breakfast also great. Lots of choice and rather...
