My Bridal Party and I stayed here before our wedding at Kinkell Byre back in May. Maggie was amazing start to finish, organising early check in for us and also providing a lovely basket of goodies on arrival. We had the most wonderful time making memories to last a life time. The surroundings are beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need! The beds are super comfy!! We hired out all of the lodges as there was 18 of us, but used priory lodge as the main hub to get ready as it had the biggest living-room space. The check out instructions were also very clear. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for wedding accommodation or just a lovely weekend away with family/friends. Thanks again maggie, Natasha x
We're just back from a short break at St Andrew's Coach Houses for a family celebration where we rented three of the properties. Maggie and her family have clearly given tremendous thought to create an inviting and comfortable home for all ages and we've been absolutely blown away by the quality. Even my young nieces and nephews were raving about the cottages and amenities within hours of arriving - no mean feat to impress kids in their 20s! It's genuinely the best self-catering accommodation we've ever stayed in, and I'm not the only one in my family to make that comment. The surrounding scenery is stunning, and the same thought has been put into providing entertainment and amenties on site to keep visitors of all ages happy. We love St Andrew's and have stayed many times and I've no doubt this is our new base. Thank's Maggie for letting us stay at your fabulous property. A truly perfect setting for our family celebration!…
We just stayed a long weekend in the St Andrews coach houses,a 5 minute drive up the hill from the town. Perfect location, beautiful view in lovely countryside and an ideally sized, furnished and peaceful place to come home to in The evening. Maggie, the owner made us most welcome and was full of useful information beforehand. The unusual sheep in the field across the path were interesting company. Would certainly return as an adult though plenty for children to do in the activity barn.
We booked Priory Lodge, The Castle and The Dukes Coach Houses for 2 nights to celebrate my hen weekend. From booking the accommodation, the actual stay and afterwards, Maggie was a dream to deal with. She was extremely helpful with lots of recommendations. The weekend itself was fantastic and made all the better with the beautiful accommodation and the finishing touches. The cottages had everything we needed to make it a very comfortable stay. I will definitely be looking to book here again and will highly recommend this accommodation.
I can't believe it took us 7 years to come back after our first visit, we will be sure not to leave it so long next time. St Andrews is within day-trip distance for us but staying for a few days has been lovely. The properties are comfortable and beautiful, and Maggie is such a helpful host. Her previous recommendation of Toppings bookshop has been a favourite family destination ever since and her local knowledge is invaluable. Despite visiting the town fairly regularly over the years, we still managed to find new things to do.
Really great holiday. 11 of stayed for a few days and we could not have wanted for anything. Beautiful scenery. Clean and warm accommodation. Really helpful information provided by the owners (in the house itself and over the phone). Feels rural without being far away from the amenities of nearby towns and villages. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Lovely property in a beautiful location...views are amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean with all we needed for our four night break. A five minute drive from the town of St Andrews with recommendations of restaurants & activities sent to us by the owner prior to our arrival. We will definitely return.
We booked two adjoining Coach Houses for a family break to celebrate a special birthday. There is nothing I could say to fault this lovely venue - spotlessly clean, very comfortable and smart, with a well-appointed kitchen. The views across open countryside are beautiful and the setting is so peaceful, yet only 5 minutes away from town, with M&S Food and a supermarket en route. Our grandsons loved the freedom, and feeding Dumbo and Millie ( the sheep in the adjacent field)! Maggie provided the best pre arrival info I have ever received, with recommendations for days out with the children and good places to eat. We made happy memories and look forward to returning.
Lovely property on a farm - spotlessly clean, beautiful views - well kitted out for self catering. Great wifi, lots of games and an activity barn. Easy access to St Andrews and a great place to explore Fife. A wee gem!
A group of friends (10) stayed at the 3 Coach Houses for 3 nights this weekend. It is a perfect location being only a 5 min drive from St Andrew's Town centre. We were provided with helpful information in terms of activities and places to eat prior to our visit which allowed us to plan our few days away. The accommodation is immaculate inside, very clean and had a lovely welcome basket of treats. It is set on a farm with an activity barn. Excellent time had by all. Cannot recommend this place enough. Well done Maggie
