I had paid for a Kingsize Bed / Room do was expecting something good, particularly so give the price. We were allocated Room 17 which was one of the rooms overlooking the car park / golf course. Nice view but car park spoilt it a bit. Room was extremely cold but we put this down to the fact that the...

Completely exceeded expectations! Beautiful location, lovely room and great service. Overall, a fantastic overnight. I will be back! Ignore any negative reviews (some people like to moan!) dinner at the Rocco was absolutely amazing and then we were able to relax with a wine in the bar while we listened to live Scottish music. Both my husband and I agreed...

Given d/b/b as a gift. Excellent value. Arrived pm in time for afternoon cream tea. No fault. Given a small but well appointed room with great views of Old Course and sea. Tea and coffee facilities, nice ensuite. Chose to have our meal in their Gastro Pub "One Over". Not packed but nice atmosphere and helful staff. Menu was fine...

My wife and I stayed at the MacDonald Rusacks hotel on 2nd January 2017. Initially were extremely excited to be staying at such a lovely hotel and having a few days away to end the festive period. However, from the minute we entered the hotel, the service was extremely poor. We arrived around 2pm and I asked if there was...

We had a one night stay in January - 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel was generally nice and that staff pleasant. Only the bar restaurant was open and it was fine for us but would have been a bit lacking for a special meal. The location is great and sitting for breakfast on Sunday at the window next...

I stayed here as part of a small group tour in late December. Let's start with some positives: the staff were generally helpful & attentive and I have no complaints about the food (breakfast & dinner). However, I share some previous negative comments expressed here about the rooms: smallish, particularly the bathroom, & a rather tired decor. Still, for a...

the hotel is perfectly located as it backs onto the golf course and is a couple of minutes from the beach. Our dogs were welcomed at the hotel which was a real treat. Breakfast overlooking the golf course and beach was terrific - we did not use evening dining but could imagine if you had a window seat that would...

We booked this hotel for a 3 night break including new year's eve. The hotel was lovely and the room was nice and clean. The only complaint we have is that the breakfast staff could not cope with the high demand for breakfasts.

We celebrated new year at this hotel which overlooks the famous St. Andrews Old course plus the R & A golf club and West sands, 2 minutes walk from the town centre. The hotel is very comfortable in an old fashioned way with plenty of cosy lounge areas to relax in.Our bedroom had all the facilities and comfortable bed you...

We stayed in room 328 in a kingsize room overlooking 18th hole and sea, spectacular! The room was clean and big with our own two comfy chairs. The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world with the nicest view. Thank you for a great stay!
