A group of 8 golfers from the U.S. Midwest stayed here for a week in October, 2016, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The location is perfect - about a block from the 1st tee of the Old Course. There were plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was... More

Great experience when coming to look at the university last year - Michael and Chris were so helpful last year and the breakfast was delicious. Hence staying again this year. Clean, warm, easily accessible, we both had keys, Michael helped us find a car parking spot on arrival. Street parking and we always found a parking space. Sumptuous breakfasts meant... More

Enjoyable stay here made even more so with the hosts' help with securing a game on the Old Course. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and being so central you can walk just about everywhere you would want to go. Room well looked after. Only downside was the very small bathroom in the single room. But that's only a very minor... More

We were here in late May 2016 and couldn't rate our stay any higher. The breakfast was terrific, rooms clean and Mick and Chris couldn't be more accommodating. With its close proximity to the golf courses and the warm welcome we received we will definitely be back.

My husband and I spent two days here during our short tour of Scotland. We found our hosts to be very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. The location in St Andrews was excellent, only 200m from St Andrews Old Course first tee. A great place for tourists and golfers alike. Room adequate and comfortable. Breakfast excellent.

We stayed four days in May. Perfect location för a golf holliday. Walking distance to the golf Courses in St Andrews. Nice and clean room. Comfortable bed. If the breakfast time were more flexible I would have given it six out of six. .

I had a great stay a Lorimer House. Chris and Mick were very welcoming, the room was immaculate, quiet and comfortable. Great facilities and the house is located right in the heart of St Andrews, just minutes from the beach and old course. Breakfast was great too! I'd definitely recommend!
