Detailed Reviews
A group of 19 of us stayed for my wife’s 30th Birthday party. We stayed at 4 of the lodges and had a great time. All of the lodges are of an excellent standard and offer lots of space for a big group. The owner made the check in really easy with all lodges ready in advance of our arrival and allowed a later check out. The location is also perfect with St. Andrews only a 5-10 min drive by car. I would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Many thanks to Anne Stanley and Family for another wonderful Family getaway at the Wonderful Elderburn Lodges, just outside St Andrews. As always, the accommodation was immaculate, and the booking process so easy to do online. The lodges are exceptionally looked after, and there was everything anyone would need for a Self Catering holiday. We had Two children and One baby with us, and there was plenty room, and plenty Games and Toys to keep them satisfied for the duration. The family are already asking when we are going to return, as they enjoyed it so much. We stayed in Lodge number 4, which is a 3 Bedroomed Loge (all en-suite). We would recommend this accommodation to all our friends and family, and also to any of the readers of this review. Many thanks again to all at Elderburn, look forward to seeing you again soon 🙏🏻

It should have been last year, but well worth the wait!
We - four adults and two children - have just returned from a fantastic week in Lodge 3. The location is superb - very peaceful, yet you can be in the centre of St Andrews in less than 10 minutes.
The Lodge itself was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. The close proximity of Craigtoun Country Park was a bonus for both adults and children.
Anne responded very quickly and helpfully to any query we had during the booking process and during our stay.
We couldn’t have asked for better accommodation or service.

We had a great time again for our 2nd time stay in lodge 2, everything was perfect effect again and can’t fault anything. The lodge was spotless. Anne is so accommodating and very responsive with email communications. The location is very convenience, we had great day trip to Craigtoun Park, tentsmuir forest, west sand beach and Anstruther. Our boys (age 2 and 5) absolutely love here and was very sad to leave. There’s so much to do in fife, we can’t wait to come back again.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review Vivian. I am delighted you and your family enjoyed your stay with us again this year. I hope your boys had fun riding their bikes on all your day trips, and made use of our toy box in your lodge. We would love to have you back again. I know the boys have their eye on Lodge 1 next time so they can see the horses from the livingroom & bedroom windows. I look forward to seeing you all again soon. Kind regards, Anne Stanley

Beautiful lodge, finished to a high quality. All that you could need for a self catering holiday were included. Bath robes were a lovely touch. Beds were extremely comfy and lots of things for children to do. Lodges are fully accessible for wheelchair users and we were able to hire a hoist from an external company.

We visited as a family group, staying in two adjoining lodges. I have to say that they were the best such accommodation we have ever visited. Everything that you could possibly need was provided and it was clear that the owners put a tremendous amount of effort into ensuring the highest of standards. We all felt incredibly relaxed, helped by the hot tub, beautiful weather and incredible surroundings. COVID procedures were in place and fully documented for us, so we felt assured and safe.
We very much hope to return in the not too distant future !

Wonderful stay for 5 nights as as two families using lodges 3 and 4 consisting of golfers and non golfers with young children.
The booking was originally made for some years ago, but with Covid and a family bereavement we have only just made it there this month and Anne was excellent and understanding as we kept changing the dates
The lodges are spacious and well equipped both for adults and young children alike and we had the benefit of the hot tub that could be shared across the 2 lodges with us staying as friends that allowed the gate between the two properties to be open. The views across the open fields to the back of the properties are absolutely stunning. The only issue is that the wi-fi is not the most reliable at the moment but the local roadworks would indicate that open reach will solve this shortly
Obviously there are plenty of attractions around for the golfers but for younger children the countrypark by the duke's course 2 miles away is great for children. We were also very lucky with the weather and the children could also go on the beaches in the surrounding area.
thank you Anne

Stayed last week and once again loved it. Think that’s our 5th time. We were in lodge 1, our favourite and my father in law was in lodge 6 (possibly the best I’ve seen for a wheelchair user]. This is now our “go to” place in St Andrews. Very close to the town (3 ish miles) but extremely quiet. The lodges have all you could want for a self catering holiday. The owners are always on hand if you need anything. Do yourself a favour and visit Elderburn lodges.

Spent 4 nights at the Lodges with family to bring in the new year. Fabulous, tranquil, spotless, Lodges which I would highly recommend. From a lovely gift on arrival to Christmas decorations everything has been considered we needed nothing. The Lodges are to a very high standard. We as a family has stayed at numerous Lodges but these definitely come out on top A huge thank you to Anne who met us on arrival. Can't wait to visit Elderburn Lodges in the future.
