Our room (11) was spacious, clean, warm, and comfortable, with views over Great Western Road. No problem with traffic noise though. The hotel is is Glasgow's West End, not far from Byers Rd. Short walk to restaurants, pubs, bus stop, and underground. Superb cooked breakfast (extra cost) was served in the cosy bar area with a fire. Nice friendly staff.

The room was quite dimly lit. A brighter light would be useful if you wanted to read comfortably.

We stayed here for one night during a Scotland trip.

Really friendly and helpful staff, the cleaning staff in the absence of the reception staff helped me with my car parking passes, really helpful. They were operating a remote check in which was clear and easy to follow from what's app instructions.

Clean and spacious room. Great location right in the heart of the westend, about a 5-10 min walk to Byres road.

Only drawback was the decor, could probably do with an update/revamp, little tired.

All in all, a very pleasant stay.

This was my second visit to this fabulous hotel. The staff are so nice, especially Jade. We had a lovely big family room with a great view of the surrounding area. Everything was spotless and immaculate, the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast which is cooked to order is amazing with all beautifully cooked fresh ingredients, from butchers sausage to first class bacon and black pudding. Jade was also on hand in the morning to give advice on places to visit or things to do in Glasgow. My mum thought it was fantastic and we were totally spoilt. We will be returning very soon, I can’t wait !!

The minute you walk in the front door the damp smell hits you. Reception not very friendly. Too many steps when I have a sore leg. No tea and coffee facilities in the room. I would not stay here again.
Very noisy toilet kept me awake at night.
The girl in the morning at breakfast was lovely but was not told I had to pay extra for cooked breakfast and it was not included.

This was our third stay here and I have to say we were extremely disappointed. First of all, it is more like an Airbnb property with no visible staff present in the hotel, a key box outside your door and no bar or restaurant due to covid.

Secondly, the room itself did not feel clean. Lightbulbs were out, used facemasks stuffed behind the furniture and stains on the bedding. The radiator in the bathroom was stuck on the hottest level so the place was like a sauna.

We stayed on the top floor and the other guests were extremely noisy, shouting until 1.30am and standing outside smoking at the front door which our room was just above. When I phoned reception to complain at midnight, the fire alarm just went off. Whilst I appreciate this was not the hotels fault, nobody came to inform us what was going on or tell us if it was a false alarm or not. There were then people gathered outside some of which were peeing in the street when the fire brigade arrived. We had no idea what was going on.

Needless to say we got very little sleep and did not enjoy our stay. After contacting the owner to complain directly they did apologise but said they have decided to prioritise business survival over customer experience right now..

This is a terrific guest house for the West End of Glasgow. Nothing fancy but it ticks all the boxes. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is as you would expect, a full breakfast is available as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast etc They can cope with gluten free. There is a bar. I was completely satisfied with my stay and I shall stay again.

We booked an overnight stay last minute and were excited to stay in this hotel. We never even made it through the door the service was so poor. The information provided on the website was opposite to the information on the phone line. We followed all of the instructions given on the phone line and in the emails and message we had been sent. We were consistently cut off. After 20 mins standing in the rain and more than a dozen attempts to contact Anyone by phone and email with absolutely no success we had no choice but to book in elsewhere.

Finally, an hour after checking in to a different hotel we had contact from the Belhaven. There was no apology offered or explanation for the poor service and there has been a refusal to offer a refund on the stay or rather the non stay!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Classy hotel in wonderful area!!!
We stayed for three nights with our daughter and young family and I can honestly say that it was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in, in the U.K.!
It is so welcoming and the staff are first class. Agnieszka,(the owner) was always on hand and gave us excellent tourist advice. The rooms are spotless, spacious and very quiet, the bed was so comfortable and lovely to relax in after a tiring day sightseeing!.The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this wonderful hotel!

Personally, I have been slightly disappointed with this. I was not expecting much as I decided to go cheap as I was only over for a couple of days; the building is beautiful from the outside but my room (which was below the ground floor) looked very old fashioned. The furniture in either the bedroom and the bathroom was quite old and outdated-looking, I did have a kettle in the room but I had to leave the room to go and fill it up as the bathroom was private but detached.

Also, the location is slightly out of Glasgow city centre so if you don't have a car, take into account that it might take 30/40 mins ish from there to the centre.

Sorry, not sure as we hired a car from the airport and drove to the hotel directly. The airport to the hotel is about a 20 min drive depending on traffic times during the day. Hope this is of some help.
