In all honesty we could not fault this hotel! It was in a perfect location for what us out of towners needed. Access to great shops, restaurants and bars etc. Easy transport links & overall clean and well presented hotel. The only thing that didn't make it excellent for me was the bathroom was a bit outdated in it's decor,...

My wife and I went for the weekend, hotel was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful I was offered morning papers and when leaving on the Monday I was asked if I needed parking validated. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night for his birthday as we were having a lunch nearby. After booking I saw reviews were mixed. i can honestly say that we had a fabulous stay. We upgraded our room and it was like a junior suite very spacious. The furnishings were tasteful and good quality. The bathroom was spotless....

This hotel has now became the only hotel I will stay in while in Glasgow. The staff are amazing - warm friendly welcome from Rachel at the front desk, clean rooms with great showers and good coffee. Breakfast is great with heathy options and again amazing staff. Restaurant is the exact same. Overall a great experience and excellent for business...

Noise from hotel party kept us awake until after 3am. At 23:45pm a male opened our door and walked directly into our room; both my wife and I were in bed. Phoned reception to ask what was going on and was asked if I noticed if the man had a glass of wine in his hand? Await this being dealt...

Not much to be said really. a warm friendly staff made us welcome from checking in to the point we left. Helpful and attentive they made this a great stay. The hotel was clean and tidy. The entrance and reception catapult you into another era with its fantastic period style and the birdcage lift is a thing of beauty. One...

Transfer from the airport by Taxi for four of us was about £22 -£25 which works out cheaper that £7.50 per person on the bus and dropped right outside the door. Arrived at reception and you are immediately impressed by the fantastic old lift, and it was a similar experience from there on. Polite helpful staff, a decent room. It...

Great hotel. Great room. Great staff. We booked the room the day before and found the hotel to be warm, accommodating and comfortable. Would definitely come back again. It was the best sleep I've ever had in a hotel.

I always stay in chain hotels so thought that I would go for something a little different and I was not disappointed by my experience. The Abode is truly quirky. The staff brought their own individual personalities to the job and this gave off a really welcome feel. It seems strange to mention the lift in a hotel but this...

I stayed here for two nights for a business trip in Glasgow. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel room. I got a double room on the third floor and I loved taking the old fashioned lift up to my room when I got in for the night. The room was kept to...
