I was looking for an inexpensive room for New Year's Eve this year, but as you can imagine prices were pretty high (especially considering it fell on a Saturday night) or else most places were booked up way in advance. The Albion Hotel had availability and a good rate so I took a chance, and I'm very glad I did!...

We stayed here for one night. Really nice hotel. Friendly pleasant staff. Massive big bedroom with lovely huge bed and beautifully modern furnished en-suite bathroom. The only thing I noticed that was a bit off was that the carpet in our room was stained and a bit tatty but that was no big deal cause everything else was lovely. The...

This hotel is situated in the west end of Glasgow very near to the Kelvinbridge underground station. It is therefore idea for travellers who wish to take their car to Glasgow and make use of the excellent public transport system. On-street parking at the hotel is free all weekend. The single room I have was of a good size and...

I missed the street sign and walked a bit further than necessary but I finally found this charming little hotel. I was warmly greeted on arrival. Room was small but more than adequate for my needs. Washroom was well equipped. Rome even had a fridge. I spent a quiet night here and would return.

Great spot for visiting West End, room not very spacious but big enough with a little hallway, queen size bed. At the front there is a quiet road at the back an garden area. The hotel is a bit dated, but clean and personnel friendly. In our room we had a very good shower but the hose could use a...

Spotlessly clean bed & breakfast hotel in wonderful quiet location. 4 minutes walk to metro. Lots of good restaurants and pubs in area. Kelvinside is a vibrant area. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfasts. No traffic noise. In fact no noise at all. Stayed here 2 years ago. Good to see that the same high standards have been maintained.

We stayed here on 7 October and got what I now know is the only room with the sloping ceiling. I am 183cm tall (6ft 1) but we found the ceiling added to the cosiness rather than cramping us. We wanted to be near the West End, so the location was great and we got a very good room-rate. Parking...

The hotel is in a good quiet location with good facilities nearby and good transport links to the centre. Single room was well placed, very clean and tidy. Breakfast was very nice too. My only criticism is the staff could do with cheering up a bit. Makes all the difference.
