Spent three nights at Grasshoppers, would return again. Comfortable rooms are quietly tucked in a central location, which was exactly what was needed. Cannot get closer to transport links, Buchanan Street shopping, or venues like the Royal Concert Hall. The hotel offers an unusual balance of extras - breakfast included, cupcakes and ice cream always on offer but not amenities...

Booked for one night based on trip advisor reviews and so glad I did. Part of central station site so ideal for leaving on the train. This would be one and only issue with the hotel in that you can leave your luggage but cases are stored in reception and no reference number given based on number of bags and reception...

The biggest problem you may encounter with this hotel is finding the place. It is very central, and although it is signposted, the sign is far from obvious and very small too. If you enter a building with a narrow entrance that looks like it might be 5 or 6 storeys of offices, then chances are you're in the right...

We only stayed one night but the hotel has made a lasting impression. Modern style and lovely personal touches in the public areas and room. Very attentive staff who were happy to help with any enquiry. Will definitely be staying again in the future. Thanks for making our very short break lovely.

This hotel is really pleasant to stay in and very central . Although almost on top of Glasgow Central Station it was very quiet. The staff are very friendly and the proprietor was very hospitable and made us very welcome. Will visit again

I was a little concerned about the location of the hotel, tucked in a busy street beside the Central Station, as I was travelling alone. Once I'd reached the 6th floor and entered the peace of the Grasshopper hotel, I stopped worrying. The stylish cleanliness of my room was reassuring too, as was the fresh coffee, cakes, good sized TV...

First came across Grasshoppers last June when we spent two nights here prior to walking West Highland Way. Loved it then, so suggested it as a place to stay for our annual re-union with friends (husbands all old school friends). And yep, still as good if not better! Spotless rooms, great art, yum breakfasts and lovely treats (homemade cakes and...

We stayed here before Christmas with our teenage daughter and had two rooms as a triple room was not available when we booked. After initially finding the entrance difficult to locate (a doorway off the street - not from inside the station) we all absolutely loved this hotel! A true haven, with delightful art works, an ambience of warmth and...

I first stayed at Grasshoppers a few years ago and recently stayed there again - unlike other hotels that become jaded and unloved, Grasshoppers has retained its sparkle and is a very special and very central place to stay.

Came to this hotel for Valentine's Day and it was lovely inside. The rooms were mimimal but made it look all the better, bathroom was stunning and the shower was amazing. Bed was so comfy and had good and easy access to sky on the TV. You revieved complimentary cakes sitting in the lobby which was a nice touch! Only...
