Our stay at The Grasshoppers was most enjoyable. Staff were friendly, breakfast was fantastic and the view from our room was delightful. This is a hotel with a great central location with a homely feel.

This hotel is situated within the station building which makes it very handy for the trains and the town centre. The problem with this is that some rooms, including mine overlook the glass roof of the train station and there is some noise pollution from the train announcements. I am surprised the hotel has not installed double glazing. The rooms...

We stayed at this hotel three nights and liked it more and more each day! The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast very tasty (great bread). Although no lobby, there is a room where you can sit and relax and make tea, and have a cupcake, or a cookie, or homemade ice cream! These little extras really add...

Initial reception was fast and friendly. Relaxed and comfortable hotel. I had a single room with a single bed. Small room, very clean, good furniture. My room is at the back of the building an overlooks the vast glass roof of the Central station, however minimal noise, so no issues there. Very good breakfast, quality ingredients. Margo also cooks dinner...

I stayed a night in the hotel and was really impressed with the whole experience. My room was small but clean, contemporary and well equipped - I even had Sky TV! The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The dining experience is unlike any other hotel I've stayed in. The Kitchen - the name of the dining area - lends...

Just stayed a night at this clean little hotel on 6th floor of office type building. The staff provides a number code for a keypad to get in the street level door after hours, and a speedy elevator to 6th floor. The location is great and very central close to the Glasgow Central Train Station. Comfy bed. The staff are...

I had read the reviews and was prepared for how convenient to Glasgow Central the property was, but it can't be mentioned enough. Out the union street entrance (which has stairs, go out the front of the station and turn right then right on union street if stairs are an issue) right on union street and there's a small sign...

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. If you are travelling by train, the location could not be more convenient - its about 30 seconds walk for Glasgow central station. The rooms are on the sixth floor so we had a really unusual view across the city roof scape. The rooms are pretty small but with a city centre location...

Grasshoppers staff were friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make every part of the experience pleasant. From small but thoughtful touches like fresh milk and freshly ground coffee to truly delicious breakfast, the hotel experience made our first holiday in Glasgow a perfectly relaxing experience.

We returned to Grasshoppers for another comfortable stay in the heart of Glasgow. Warm welcome, fresh cold milk for tea and homemade ice cream. Great breakfast after a peaceful night's sleep. Delighted to say that Grasshoppers continues at the top of its game.
