The location is perfect, so close to Buchanan bus station and near the city centre. The staff are friendly and the room is clean and neat. Though it looked like an old building from the outside, surprisingly the interior was not shabby at all, everything was in a good condition. I would highly recommend this place to stay in Glasgow!

I stayed at the Piper's Tryst with a group on the first two days of a Scotland tour and we really enjoyed our time here. The staff was warm and welcoming (beginning with a bit of whisky upon check-in), always making sure we were taken care of at breakfast and again at dinner. There were several choices each morning ranging for traditional Scottish breakfast, to continental danish/croissants and fruit. We had dinner here one night it was very good as well. Our rooms were clean and adequate (smaller than what we Americans are used to but nice and clean). The beds were comfortable. Note, there are stairs that you must be able to carry your luggage up and down, so this is not the place for someone with large suitcases or excess bags.

Really great spot at the top of hope street and only 10 minutes walk from the city centre and train stations. Our room was on the top floor of the building and was spotlessly clean . We got a warm welcome from all the staff who were really helpful can’t praise them enough. Finally probably one of the best breakfasts I’ve had and again the staff were delightful will definitely return.

We had a nice stay for 3 nights - great location and easy walk to the city centre. Also convenient for taxi service on the main street in front of the hotel. Breakfast and dinner food are nicely prepared and delicious - an unexpected surprise. Staff was very pleasant, professional, and helpful. Rooms are clean with the basic amenities provided. This small hotel is not fancy but will provide a pleasant local experience.

We had a great experience! Perfect for a couple. The location provided an easy to walk to access all of Glasgow. It is near the bus station as well. Breakfast was delicious and quick to grab before our adventures for the day. We would definitely recommend.

Had a fabulous 2 nights stay.. couldn't fault in.. Staff were really friendly... Food superb.. Welcome dram on arrival will certainly stay again. If I anything to fault it would be the sink in the bathroom was too small (more lije a cloakroom sink) but could live with it

Stayed here for 1 night after a trip to the Hydro. Booked in very easily and the room was very nice. Plus points were the closeness to the city centre and the bed was just on the soft side of firm. Negative points would be finding the hotel and unfortunately the water pressure (stayed in room 5). The breakfast was very nice and plentiful, served by very pleasant and accommodating staff.
