We stayed here recently on a weekend in Glasgow. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the city, near all the main attractions for us and next to a subway stop as well. Close to everything but just far enough out to be quiet and relaxing. Rooms are not big but well appointed and bathroom/shower was excellent. best...

We had a great time for my husbands birthday. We were made more than welcome at all times. Room was spacious and comfortable. Shower and bathroom were bliss. Food was delicious. Central to bus station, shops, bank of the Clyde, subway and museums. The people of Glasgow could not do enough for you. The local restaurants were great too.

I was fortunate enough to book a room in this boutique hotel in January for four nights. I was returning to Glasgow after 16 years to catch up with friends and found the hotel with it's raving reviews here on Trip Advisor. I checked it out and the rates were really fantastic along with the excellent location so I locked...

The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The main breakfast is excellent and very filling, it set us up for the day....

Location - reaching the Pipers' Tryst Hotel was an easy 15 minute walk from Queen Street Station with wheeled luggage. Our friends parked up at the multi-storey just across the road. The personal touch - on arrival we were welcomed by a glass of Glenfiddich and shortbread, and our charming receptionist Caitlin also came over to see us the next...

Right at the centre of things, yet quietly serene, this restaurant and rooms is first class. The eight rooms have individual character but all share a very high standard of excellence. Loch Katrine bottled water, bagpipe playing rubber ducks in the bath, and 'dreamin o pipin' 'do not disturb' signs on the doors ensures quirky perfection!

A wonderful change from the impersonal glass and concrete structures that characterise modern hotels. A tasteful adaption and preservation of a late 19th century former church has resulted in the creation of the small (but perfectly formed) hotel alongside the National Piping Centre. We were made to feel very welcome by EVERY member of the staff from the moment of...
