Had itison voucher for afternoon tea with friends. Sandwiches and scones nice, although they use squirty cream from a tin! Let down by cakes, really tiny and looked as if had been frozen. Overall ok but have had much nicer afternoon tea elsewhere.

Hubby and I went for afternoon tea. There was a wake on at the same time which felt very awkward . We were told it was only plain coffee with milk that comes with afternoon tea, if we wanted a latte it was extra! Hubby had a pot of tea and it was very weak ( no tea bag left in the pot) When the sandwiches etc came out, the bread definitely wasn't fresh, it was hard around the edges. It was skooshy cream not clotted cream for the scones which I've never had with an afternoon tea. The scones were just out the fridge not freshly made and I've no idea what the small cakes were on the top. Looked like a packet of shop bought mini cakes. Not a good experience and would definitely not recommend.

We recently had our wedding at number 10 hotel. We had the most amazing day, everything ran smoothly and staff were great. Even with a power cut for a short period of time they done everything to keep things on track and kept us up to date. Heather was fab at making sure we were happy and everything was as we planned through out the day. A massive shout out the Tam who literally never stopped from start to finish don’t think out day would have been the same without him. All our guest rooms were lovey and clean and food was great.

Can't fault the place. Room was clean, warm and well presented. High quality linen and towels. The interior of the hotel is quite immaculate. Staff were really pleasant and happy to help me with anything. And were there free cookies? You're darn right there were

Very noisy. Lots of hard music at night. The annex room I had does not even have a place to lay down toiletries. Room at the back with staff emptying bottles noisily at all hours. Doors slamming all night. Had many good stays here but its a real roll of the dice to get a decent nights sleep

We stayed one night in an economy double room. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and looked after our bags for us. Apart from that it was disappointing. The room was very noisy - we could hear music/tv from other rooms all night and people crashing around in the corridors. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower was barely a trickle. The ironing board was broken and the iron was dirty. Breakfast: cereals and fruit were ok. The cooked breakfast - the scrambled eggs didn't look like they'd ever been near a real egg but the bacon and veg were ok. We left feeling exhausted.

Great room, really friendly people, and a great breakfast. Knocking a point off as the room was near a fire door and pretty noisy with people coming and going (not overnight though) but I’m probably over sensitive to these things. Definitely recommend though.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for a family funeral for two nights. The staff were lovely, very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were really comfortable, and we all slept soundly both nights. We had both vegetarian and vegans in our group, and this was no problem for the restaurant, and the food was delicious. When we return to visit Glasgow, we will definitely stay in this hotel again.

A beautiful property, located on the outskirts of Glasgow, approximately 1000 red traffic lights from Queen Street Station! As a disabled customer, I was immediately struck by the lack of accessibility, both to the main residence and bedrooms on the first and second floors. Hotel communications were excellent as were all staff. Bar meals were delicious and reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend, and suspect the garden is fabulous in the summer. We attended for a funeral wake, and the catering and food were both great. Our double room was excellent and the bed and pillows were the best. I might just add that the shower was very small and I might have struggled to have squeezed through the door had I not shed my Christmas weight! The friendly staff appeared a bit too keen to leave work by 8pm, and we twice had to bring forward the timing of our evening meals. On balance, a thoroughly pleasant stay.
