Stayed here with a friend for one night in February 2017. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We also found the hotel to be clean and tidy throughout. It's a 'no thrills' hotel: rooms are fairly basic and small but our beds were very comfortable, and there was a flat screen TV and tea & coffee...

First stay in this hotel as eating at a prebooked nearby restaurant. Check in was slow as one of the staff realised we were waiting over 5mins whilst other guests checked in. Lovely bar area . The bar staff constantly asked for correct change if possible as they were short. The rooms were of an acceptable standard although hand towels...

Visited for one night. Check in went well. Room clean and warm. No side cabinet or table for either twin bed. Just floor space in between. Safety hinge on door broken. Needs a few extra touches... water glasses, second towel. Bar was fine. Reasonably priced. Breakfast was good. Plenty staff, working well. Checkout fine

Comfortable clean hotel an excellent location for attending a show at the Hydro. The room was very clean and comfortable and toilet spotless. The staff were very helpful and friendly and our stay was pleasant. I would not hesitate to use the hotel again if I book up for any more shows.

My wife and I stayed here for one night. For a budget hotel facilities in room were very good, not spacious but all the essentials there and spotlessly clean. Heating and ventilation control easy to use. We had a continental breakfast which again couldn't be faulted and very handy for SECC.

The only good thing about staying here is that it is walking distance to the secc. I would only rate this place as a one star, we asked for a hand towel and was told they don't supply them, you get one bath towel per person. The sink had a large crack in it and the bottom of the bath...

This hotel is very close to the Hydo SECC but it is just like a travelodge very basic and very small, bed quite hard and only one pillow each was clean, we were there only one night so made the best of it, quite expensive for what it is, you are paying for the location .

I stayed at the Campanile on Wednesday 8th February 2017 for an overnight stay with dinner and Scottish breakfast. I was a bit wary, with what on the whole seemed a lot of negative views. The hotel was a 3 minute walk from the Hydro, just over the road in fact. The hotel was pleasant enough, the staff were very...
