a weekend break in our local city, as always this hotel is very efficient and welcoming and is right in the city centre 3 minutes from train/subway and bus stations, it is situated on Sauchiehall Street.

It's quite a short distance eg about half a mile. You may want to take a taxi

No, they do not. The hotel has central air conditioning, and you can control the thermostat.

You’ll need to take a 3 pin plug for USB charging. WiFi is free and is quite good.
