We loved our stay in our cottage and would highly recommend and hope to come again. Our accommodation was clean and welcoming when we arrived. It was a short walk to the Strathspey Train station which was ideal for our family trip out to see Santa! We took our dogs who were made welcome with a doggy welcome pack. Nice touch. Shops and restaurants were all walking distance away. We stayed 3 nights and it was a very enjoyable family time away. The accommodation was immaculately presented, and we all loved relaxing at night in front of the wood burner. We will be back!

Had a great 10 night stay in Ruby Cottage. 2 adults and 3 children (7, 10, 14).

This little gem has everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. The kitchen is well equipped and the utility room with washer and dryer is really helpful. The property was clean and grass was even cut prior to our arrival.

Bedrooms - the master bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. There are 2 further bedrooms downstairs with a single and bunk beds. This suited us with the children’s ages however it would be difficult with young children sleeping on a different level. There is also a shower room on the ground floor.

Outside there is a decked seating area and a shed to store bikes. It’s is also helpful having a clothes line to hang out washing!

Location - very close to the level crossing and the Spey Valley Country club which we used for swimming. There is noise from the train track which runs along the back however it would appear to only be the steam train that uses this line and although noise during the day when it passes there was no noise at night. There is ongoing building works across the back therefore construction noise can be heard from around 8am during the week. This was not an issue for us. Approx 20 min walk into the town. Good area for cycling and dog walks.

There is a Silverglades office on site. Property has good information contained within and the silver card to save 10% at some local venues is an added benefit!

Would recommend and would happily return.

We were so looking forward to this holiday as love Aviemore and it did not disappoint! We stayed in Ptarmigan Cottage, on arrival it was spotlessly clean and welcoming, there was even a welcome pack for the dogs with a list of lovely local dog walks!
This cottage is a home from home, it has everything you could possibly need. The beds are comfortable and the showers excellent! The WiFi was great and it has sky tv.
The location of the cottage is a short (8 minute) walk right into the Centre of Aviemore. The garden was enclosed and has a picnic table to sit out and we were so lucky with the weather.
If you are looking for a nice relaxing break away with all the comforts of home - this is the place!
We will be back!

Lovely cottage close to local amenities. 3 bedrooms, with 1 en suite and main bathroom, separate sauna, well equipped kitchen. Large enclosed garden ideal for our dogs. The cottage allows 2 dogs, which incurs a fee, which is per dog, per night. A dog welcome pack is provided with a dog bowl, towel, and small blanket for dogs to use during their stay and dog treats and poo bags provided aswell. Dogs not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms.
A couple of negatives. The lights in the lounge are quite dim, and the exterior lights (particularly at the kitchen door) are ineffective. The other negative was that the kitchen and lounge floor could have been cleaner.
The WiFi speed was good. The cottage was nicely decorated.
Check out time was a strict 10am with a list of instructions to be followed for check out procedure. After check out I had reason to phone reception, the staff were very friendly and efficient, so a big thanks for their help.
I booked through a 3rd party website this time, but next time, I will just book directly with Silverglades. Although we didn't need a 3 bedroom cottage, it met our needs perfectly and would probably book the same cottage again, but differently will return to Silverglades, Aviemore in the future

We stayed for 4 nights in 177 bungalow. The property is very spacious and has everything you need. The sauna is a great addition to the property and was used a lot during our stay. The location of 177 is just next to the footpath into the town so it is very handy. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Stayed in 159, 4 adults staying for 3 days. It was modern, clean and very well equipped, nice garden with bbq and picnic bench, nice quiet area, and only a short walk (less than 10 minutes) to the hub of aviemore shops, pubs etc. Parking on driveway for 2 cars. You can also walk to the village without having to go via the busy road which is great if you have kids or dog with you. We had the dog with us, and plenty of places to walk nearby as well, both short and long walks. The only negative I would have is that although it was spacious enough for 4 for a short stay, the listing said it could sleep 4-6. I think for 6 it would be cramped as storage was limited so I don't know where you'd put 6 peoples belongings.

Have just stayed at The Stag Lodge 153 Dalanby, Silverglade holiday village ,Avimore with 2 friends and 2 dogs.
What a fantastic base to explore the area surounded by the beautiful Cairngorm mountains, fantastic walks for the dogs and within easy walking distance of Avimore Centre.
Local convienence store of a Co op near by( approx 10min walk) as well as takeaway options of LOVELY Fish and chips or a Pizza if you cant be bothered to cook after a busy day out.
On the eating front I would throughly recomend the Galaxy noodle bar in Avimore for an amazing takeway and who will deliver also.
With regards to the property itself, it was a very comfortable stay ,well equipped, clean, comfortable beds and a generous enclosed garden for the dogs to play in.
My only slight comement might be that it could benefit from some different curtains in the bedrooms which allowed light in when the sun rise at 4.30am! Other than that a really lovely Stay !!

Stayed in a 2 bedroom pet free cottage. Immaculately clean. Lovely garden space. Full range of kitchen utensils. Parking spaces in

Really close to the cycle path which is a short cut into Aviemore village centre. Walk 7 minutes.

Reasonably priced.

We planned to stay at Number 68 Snowy Owl Lodge for 3 nights and loved it so much extended the stay for a week. We invited some family from London and made some magical memories.
The lodge is well equipped and very homely, a lot of tender loving care has gone into making it a home from home.
The bathroom had a big bath and spacious shower cubicle also a separate small toilet. The bedrooms were immaculate and comfortable. The kitchen was clean and stocked up on dishes, glassware and cutlery etc. the small garden has a bbq and enough space to sit out and enjoy the sun all day as the garden is a sun trap. We took our little furry friend Kali and he was catered for with a welcome pack and loved the garden to investigate.
We had a wonderful time and will return to Snowy Lodge!

We visited and experienced the stunning scenery and visited 2 Lochs.

Local restaurants were nice however short staffed due to the current climate shut at last minute so keep an eye on social media before going to dine.

I enjoyed my first stay in Heather Cottage so much I didn't want to leave! I felt relaxed from the moment I walked through the front door.

Immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you need for the perfect self-catering break. I felt very safe staying here.

The cottage is located in a quiet residential area. There is a shop nearby for groceries and the centre of Aviemore is about a 15 minute walk away.

I enjoyed sitting in the private garden in the evenings with a glass of wine. So peaceful and relaxing.

I have stayed at other Silverglades properties over the years and they have all been to the same high standard. I'll definitely be booking again sometime soon!
