We were a group of 4 motorcyclists looking for a decent campsite. We thought that we had found where as in fact it just appears that we were easy targets for this location. We were given a pitch behind the main reception that was so hard and full of rock that we could barely get the tent pegs in. We...

We have stayed in the motel a few times and loved it but this time we hired a chalet. We had two kids with us aged 9 and 6. On arrival we got our keys and headed to our home for the next few days. The chalet was beautiful. We were in one that was suitable for a wheelchair user....

Spent 5 nights here, ideal to explore Cairngorms. Lodge cosy, clean, staff very helpful, good location and going back next year hopefully. 5 minute walk into the lovely village of Aviemore where there are lots of restaurants, pubs, hotels, shops etc. Only a few miles to the fenicular railway to take you up into the mountains.

Spotlessly clean very quiet just the place to be to relax. Cannot fault this place except maybe a wee lamp in the sitting area. Everything you need supplied even the towels are supplied which are great. Great base for exploring about aviemore and cairngorms

We were next to a busy road and the other campers are quite close together the toilet and shower block was clean and had hot water but was quite a distance away . There was no facility to empty waste water. I would not stay...

I have stayed in lots of places in Aviemore, these chalets are basic,or the one we stayed in was,it smelt damp on arrival, extra for electricity, very dated with a sofa you fell through! Not comfortable at all, television channels were excellent ,but we were out most of the weekend, the place is clean and beds comfortable, lots of utensils.I would probably stay else where next time.

We stayed as a family for two nights (wish it had been longer). The chalets are modern, really well kitted out and obviously looked after. We stay in a variety of accommodation on different trips and this is easily one of the best of this type. Great location at the end of the village only a short walk to the...

A group of 3 of us stayed in the Larig Ghru chalet last week from Monday to Thursday and had an excellent stay. I arrived before my friends at 1pm, check in time is usually 4pm but the chalet was already ready so I could leave my bags and go walking. I didn't buy any electricity because I decided we...

Had out first camping trip here and thought the site was great. Individual pitches are a good size, we have a 6 man tent and there was plenty of room. WARNING: you'll need extra strong tent legs as the pitches are compacted ground and normal tent pegs aren't strong enough to drive in. Thankfully Reception will let you have a...
