I stayed here for a night and found it generally very acceptable. Situated a little out of Aviemore on the road that leads to the ski centre, the house itself is on a quiet cul de sac with ample parking. The garden looks lovely and inside the house seemed very modern. I was on the ground floor and didn't have... More

I was a little perplexed by the particularly enthusiastic reviews on here. I suspect there is a subset of visitor who enjoyed rambling coversations for hours with the owner. The room itself was ok. We may have distorted expectations, but this place lost marks for 2 toilets / bathrooms between 5 rooms (no en suite), temperamental shower, having to reconnect... More

Very warm and welcoming host, loved her. Near Aviemore and centrally located to loads of attractions. Excellent breakfast, made you feel at if you we're home. Beautiful home and gardens. Comfortable bed.

Cosy little house just outside Aviemore on the Cairngorm road. Hostess is Delma, sorry if the spelling isn't right, who is a chatty and knowledgeable person who can help you to explore the local area. The house is in a little village so is quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and there was a ketle with tea and coffee... More

Excellent B&B, only downside was no ensuite bathroom. We had been at an all day family party with endless supply of wine etc, so ensuite would have been useful. Very welcoming and accommodating landlady

Was met at the door by a very friendly owner that from that moment on only wanted to please us. Nothing was too much trouble and was very accommodating. A good little spot for access to all activities. Clean bedroom and shower room, only negative I would have was the shower didn't have a great deal of water coming out... More

We stayed here for two nights and my daughter stayed on for a 5 days. We received a very warm welcome, and were instantly at home here. Beautifully situated just beside the Rothiemurchus Centre, close to the cycle routes, and within easy walking distance of the Aviemore town centre, we would highly recommend.

My partner and i stayed very recently, we were met by delmar the lady owner who was very inviting and warm with a bubbly personality. Our double bedroom on the ground floor was cosy and clean. Lots of birds feeding in the gardens were a treat even a pheasant paid us a visit! We both enjoyed our full breakfast and... More

Myself and my partner had a fantastic short stay in the wonderful Mrs Harris's B&B. It was warm and cosy and only a short distance away from the Aviemore ski resort which we were visiting. The B&B was very accommodating and the breakfast was lovely. The wildlife park nearby was fantastic also...worth the stay :)

“There are ground floor rooms available. The house is very convenient for Rothiemurchus and the lochs - moreso than in the centre of Aviemore, so if you are planning walking, fishing, shooting, sled dogs or any of the other Rothiemurchus activities it's really handy.”
