Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked a 3 night stay B&B at The Priory at short notice and we chose the Superior King room No 37. The room was very spacious and very clean as was the shower room/toilet. We had an external balcony but due to the time of year and weather we couldn't use it. The breakfast each morning was excellent served by very attentive staff. This hotel is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at to be honest, all the staff from the reception, dinning area, bar and the cleaners are second to none. We would without hesitation recommend a stay at The Priory, Beauly.

Another short break at The Priory and another lovely stay. Stayed in room 9 ( for some reason we always get that room), clean comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast delicious as always and we had the haddock for dinner and it was superb. Staff friendly, chatty and very helpful. We will be back again soon.

We stayed here for the 2 Night Winter Offer. We booked the suite which was very reasonably priced in this deal. The room was excellent, very clean, with a huge bath and a balcony. The person who greeted us was very friendly and kindly offered to store our bikes inside. We ate at the restaurant and they had a plant-based menu with a nice selection of options. There is vegetarian breakfast on the menu and we asked for it to be made vegan and the staff was very helpful to accommodate us.

Thank you to everyone who made our stay so wonderful. This Hotel is a real Gem. Great food, very comfortable, exceptionally spacious rooms and lovely friendly staff. We'd escaped the stormy weather for a couple of days but with travel warnings and Red weather alerts in place found it difficult to get home. Very kind Reception staff made sure we could keep our room on another night without any fuss which was very much appreciated. Everyone without exception - Reception, bar, restuarant, cleaners are a credit to the hotel and we will be booking a return visit soon ( hopefully in better weather).

Friendly staff and lovely setting. Very good restaurant and rooms suited us well. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner menu and the fine array of whiskies on offer. Clean rooms and luxury bathrooms. Good for parking and getting around the area - we visited Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns and Cawdor Castle.

Visited this restaurant yesterday. A very warm welcome from the staff. A very pleasant restaurant with excellent staff, friendly and very efficient. We had absolutely delicious fish and chips, freshly cooked and served very quickly. The toilets in the hotel were immaculate. Do not hesitate visiting this restaurant ,you will not be disappointed. The staff are the owners of the restaurant and that shows in their professionalism, well done.

The service here is 5+ star. The General Manager, Kate Hughes, bought the hotel with 4 experienced friends, and turned it into a co-op where the entire staff benefits. Don't think I have ever seen a happier, more helpful hotel staff any where in the world. Nothing but smiles and bustle. A special shout out for Kate Hughes who works along with the staff. We spent last Saturday night at the Priory. We had a lovely room, delicious food and wonderfully helpful staff, especially Veronica . She is a waitress and served us in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return.

Clean, centrally located hotel with parking. Spacious double room which was comfortable with tea, coffee and biscuits. We were booked as B&B and enjoyed a hot breakfast which was a very generous portion size. Will stay again if in the area and recommend.

Very good experience. Food was delicious. The teenager with us reported that the chocolate was the best he had had! Service great. Price very reasonable. Would recommend to family and friends and will return ourselves too.
