Glen Affric Holiday Park offers the perfect retreat for a self catering holiday at the heart of the most spectacular highland mountain scenery in Scotland. Our thirteen timber cabins can be found nestling on the banks of the River Glass in spacious landscaped gardens on the edge of Cannich village surrounded by forest walks, mountains and waterfalls and yet only 15 minutes drive from Loch Ness and 26 miles from Inverness - the capital of the Highlands. With a children's play area, launderette, barbeque area and fully equipped Games Room there will always be something to do on the park but all of the Highland's major attractions are within easy travelling distance. Our cabins sleep up to 6 people and have recently been refurbished to a high standard with comfortable furnishings to give our guests that home-from-home feeling. All of our cabins include fully made up beds, luxury hand and bath towels and we do not charge for cots, high chairs or additional beds if required. Pets are also welcome. The relaxed atmosphere of this husband and wife run holiday park will ensure that all your requirements are catered for and you have a fantastic holiday.

We arrived at Glen Affric and the owner greeted us with a friendly hello and kindly asked how our journey had been. The cabins are of a very high standard. Everything is in the kitchen you have at home is there. From the cutlery to the saucepans are all spotless and high quality. There are sachets of coffee, teabags and sugar. Every little detail has been thought of. There's plenty of space in the wardrobes. Plenty of drawers in the bedrooms for everyone. The beds are clean with really good quality bedding. The pillows though could be softer. We all played a game of chess that the owner has in the cabins something we never played before so it passed a few hours in the evening. There are washing machines and tumble dryers in the laundry room next to the pool and games room. My son and granddaughter played with children in other cabins. Watching them run round safely was great. Can't wait to go back.

We have just returned from a fantastic 7 night stay at Glen Affric Holiday Park.

Although we are frequent visitors to the Highlands this was the first time we had stayed outside of the big town, I’m so glad we did.

The accommodation is kept in tip top condition, the site although compact is extremely well maintained and above all it is very tranquil and peaceful.

It was nice of owner Amanda to pop by just after we arrived and also just before we left just to check all was ok.

In terms of location it’s in Cannich which is about 40/45 minutes from Inverness, with Drumnodrochit about 20 minutes drive.
Within walking distance of the site there is a village shop and a pub plus a nearby caravan site which has a cafe open to non guests.

I can honestly say anyone looking for self catering holiday accommodation would struggle to find fault with this site.

No better place to be.

Stunning surroundings, manicured gardens, spotlessly clean, well appointed lodges, perfect host.

Extras supplied; tea/coffee/milk sachets. 1 x tea towel, kitchen cloth, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs.

On site games room with pool, table tennis, games, books, DVDs

Bikes can be rented 5 min walk away.

Slater's Arms pub round the corner - great food.

Take a visit to Plodda Falls ( 1 mile past Tomich)

What more can I say?

Stayed here in October, the owner Amanda welcomed us after our arrival, so friendly and welcoming even the puppy was given a very warm welcome 😊 the cabins were cosy and spotless, perfect to relax in. The setting is lovely and peaceful and the kids area outside was great as well as the games room all was enjoyed hugely by my children. Glen Affric is beautiful to explore we enjoyed our walks here. Definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

We stayed at Glen Affric Holiday Park for 2 weeks in June '22. How happy we were right from arrival to find such lovely accommodation; very tastefully furnished; patio doors with decking overlooking woodlands and river; three ample sized bedrooms; a very nice bathroom; airing cupboard and kitchen with all the fittings and utensils we could need. Dishwasher too! The whole cabin immaculately clean. The grounds all around the cabins are beautifully maintained by a very nice gardener, with wonderful conifers and other trees interspersed between the cabins. All was delightful and peaceful too.
Then to meet the owner, the lovely and very amenable Amanda, on our first evening to welcome us, was a delight indeed.
Also we used the laundry facilities at the park whilst there, which were so handy for us.
Thank you to all the staff at the park for creating and maintaining such wonderful holiday accommodation and we are returning in September!

Just spent a week in one of the lodges and had a very lovely and relaxing week there with my boyfriend.

First impressions were very good as the place was absolutely immaculate. They are clearly cleaned and maintained to a very high standard which is great as I have stayed in a few questionable places in the past.

The grounds are incredibly quiet so if you want to get away from the city life for a bit then I’d definitely recommend it. Not much to do on the site itself but there’s tons to do if you venture out in the car. Lovely places to visit at Loch Ness!

Only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because we both found the bed quite uncomfortable. My boyfriend is 6’3” and couldn’t fit into the bed as there is a footer on the bed. The mattress was pretty hard and the pillows too flat so we both got neck pain. I’d happily book and stay there again but would maybe take my own pillow next time

Oh and just be careful with the smoke alarms as they are SUPER sensitive (though would of course rather that than not sensitive enough). We set them off every morning using the toaster and we weren’t burning the toast. We could hear them going off every day in the neighbouring lodges which we had a giggle about as we knew it wasn’t just us at least.

Thank you to the owners for a lovely little week away. We will come back again some time 😊

We spent 2 holidays (2019 and 2020) at Glen Affric and I cannot recommend the place enough. The chalets are very well arranged and spotlessly clean. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need, including a dishwasher. Glen Affric is a very quiet, comfortable and friendly place and we will definitely return for more holidays.

Stayed here in July, not for the first time. The Holiday Park is very dog friendly, no restrictions on where the dogs can go. I counted 11 dogs in the park while we were there, all on leads and well behaved. A perfect place to stay if you are looking to take your 4 legged friend/s ( I think 2 dogs per cabin limit but worth checking with owners).

The cabins are spotlessly clean, well equip and comfortable. Hosts are lovely and helpful. Great park/cabins to stay in if you want to relax and slow down. Loved watching the shinty team practice in the neighbouring park! Bog Cotton Cafe , 5 mins walk away, served a lovely breakfast.

Lots of walking to be done in the surrounding area, don't come without water proofs and midge repellent. Great base for Inverness, Fort Augustus, Beauly and the Glen itself. (Bring an old, unusual teapot to add to the teapot fairy's collection in the village of Cannich next to the traffic lights).

We booked 2 neighbouring lodges for a week. The lodges were spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, very well equipped and had lovely touches like fresh flowers on arrival, tea & coffee tray. It was
great too to have a supply of dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid, hand soap etc.
The small site is beautifully kept and situated by the river. We had great weather and were able to sit out on the decks and enjoy it to the full. A stunning area for walking whether on the surrounding hills, around lochs or to nearby waterfalls.
Highly recommend this accommodation and area and hope to return to it soon

We had an amazing stay at Glen Affric Holiday Park this past week. We had 2 cabins for an extended family of 10. Both cabins were spotless! So clean and very well equipped. Small details like the free flowers and dishwasher tablets honestly meant a lot. The lady owner (I'm so sorry I've forgotten your name) is so lovely, very friendly, chatty and really made sure we were all happy and she came by to say goodbye on our last day.

Location is amazing, we done plenty of trails and walks, played in the Loch behind the cabins, horse back rude through the Highlands and had a trip to Loch Ness Jacobite cruise which was well worth it.

Overall a fantastic family holiday! Day 2 and we were already discussing when we will go back.

The games room and park area was great for the children and the wash house came in very handy (make sure you have lots of change £3 a wash and 50p 15 mins in the dryer I belive)

Hi We have a number of cabins which face away from the public areas which would reduce sight of other dogs and there is a large exercise park area adjacent to the holiday park which can be used.
