Glen Affric Holiday Park offers the perfect retreat for a self catering holiday at the heart of the most spectacular highland mountain scenery in Scotland. Our thirteen timber cabins can be found nestling on the banks of the River Glass in spacious landscaped gardens on the edge of Cannich village surrounded by forest walks, mountains and waterfalls and yet only 15 minutes drive from Loch Ness and 26 miles from Inverness - the capital of the Highlands. With a children's play area, launderette, barbeque area and fully equipped Games Room there will always be something to do on the park but all of the Highland's major attractions are within easy travelling distance. Our cabins sleep up to 6 people and have recently been refurbished to a high standard with comfortable furnishings to give our guests that home-from-home feeling. All of our cabins include fully made up beds, luxury hand and bath towels and we do not charge for cots, high chairs or additional beds if required. Pets are also welcome. The relaxed atmosphere of this husband and wife run holiday park will ensure that all your requirements are catered for and you have a fantastic holiday.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We arrived at Glen Affric and the owner greeted us with a friendly hello and kindly asked how our journey had been. The cabins are of a very high standard. Everything is in the kitchen you have at home is there. From the cutlery to the saucepans are all spotless and high quality. There are sachets of coffee, teabags and sugar. Every little detail has been thought of. There's plenty of space in the wardrobes. Plenty of drawers in the bedrooms for everyone. The beds are clean with really good quality bedding. The pillows though could be softer. We all played a game of chess that the owner has in the cabins something we never played before so it passed a few hours in the evening. There are washing machines and tumble dryers in the laundry room next to the pool and games room. My son and granddaughter played with children in other cabins. Watching them run round safely was great. Can't wait to go back.

A great, quiet little holiday park. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the games room was a great addition. The local area is stunning and Loch Ness and Inverness is close enough where there is loads to do.

Great place to stay. Amanda was wonderful, so knowledgeable and helpful with all the local information. Stunning, quiet location right next to the river. Beautifully maintained lodges with everything you could possibly need . We stayed for 5 nights with our 3 daughters and our dog. Great location for visiting Loch Ness, Inverness and surrounding area. The accommodation and owners were first class from day one until we left, the lodge had everything we needed and great for a family, clean and modern, the facilities around the park indoor and outdoor were ideal and utilised the last of energies from the kids. waking up to some beautiful sites and exploring nearby was a pleasure. Accommodation - Great and Clean Location - ideal for rest / recuperation whilst keeping kids occupied Facilities - Loads to do indoor and outdoor especially with Scottish weather Locals - Very helpful Will be booking again very soon, our go to place for R&R twinned with quality family time

Stayed here in July, not for the first time. The Holiday Park is very dog friendly, no restrictions on where the dogs can go. I counted 11 dogs in the park while we were there, all on leads and well behaved. A perfect place to stay if you are looking to take your 4 legged friend/s ( I think 2 dogs per cabin limit but worth checking with owners). The cabins are spotlessly clean, well equip and comfortable. Hosts are lovely and helpful. Great park/cabins to stay in if you want to relax and slow down. Loved watching the shinty team practice in the neighbouring park! Bog Cotton Cafe , 5 mins walk away, served a lovely breakfast. Lots of walking to be done in the surrounding area, don't come without water proofs and midge repellent. Great base for Inverness, Fort Augustus, Beauly and the Glen itself. (Bring an old, unusual teapot to add to the teapot fairy's collection in the village of Cannich next to the traffic lights).

Myself, my son and my cocker spaniel stayed for a few days along with my parents, sister and her basset hound. We stayed in Spruce as it was the only lodge available with a walk in shower. And with a few of us having mobility issues, a walk in shower was a must. Lodges are plenty spacious for the 5 of us and the 2 dogs. Clean and well kept. The patio and decking overlooked the river so it was really private. The double bedroom and twin room were a good size and lovely big beds. The bunk bed room again was ample, but definitely not for a near 40 year old woman to be sleeping on! But plenty fine for kids!. The sofas were new, the only thing I would say about them, is that we found them a tad uncomfortable with the arm rests being so high, but that's just our preference. It would be handy if the patios had a gate to make them dog friendly! We had to block off parts so our dogs couldn't escape. Lovely and well kept grounds, laundrette on site along with a games room! Take plenty 50p coins for the pool table! Out and about, well the whole area of Glen Affric, Loch Ness is truly spectacular. I loved getting out and exploring. Especially with my dog Otis! Dog Falls and River Affric have some amazing walks. Oh and Ness Islands in Inverness is worth a visit too. My parents and sister plan to return next year, unfortunately I won't be as travelling with a 12 year old asn child who just wasn't coping with the change of place etc, it wasn't much of a holiday. Also, for kids of that age, unless totally into scenery and hiking, I feel there isn't much aimed in the area in general for kids. All in all, the holiday park was perfect for our needs! Loved it 😘

Stayed here in October, the owner Amanda welcomed us after our arrival, so friendly and welcoming even the puppy was given a very warm welcome 😊 the cabins were cosy and spotless, perfect to relax in. The setting is lovely and peaceful and the kids area outside was great as well as the games room all was enjoyed hugely by my children. Glen Affric is beautiful to explore we enjoyed our walks here. Definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

No better place to be. Stunning surroundings, manicured gardens, spotlessly clean, well appointed lodges, perfect host. Extras supplied; tea/coffee/milk sachets. 1 x tea towel, kitchen cloth, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs. On site games room with pool, table tennis, games, books, DVDs Bikes can be rented 5 min walk away. Slater's Arms pub round the corner - great food. Take a visit to Plodda Falls ( 1 mile past Tomich) What more can I say? Get it booked
