Within ten minutes our recent discomforts were a distant memory! Our hostess couldn't do enough for us, taking in our bikes and getting us to our comfy room...

Second time I've stayed here, first time was about 8 years ago. Both times on a motorcycle tour of the far north. This was the first place I tried both times and would be my first port of call for the next trip (hopefully in less than 8 years time!). This is a true B & B where you stay...

Very friendly and helpful, a lovely spot by the river. Handy for the main street with its restaurants and bars. Good breakfast. Got a sponge to wash the car although I did have to do that myself unfortunately!

Stayed in a very comfortable and clean room in a lovely home with great character. The room had everything we needed. Catriona was very friendly and helpful. She provides a good big breakfast. It would definitely be my first choice if staying here again. Thanks!

I have stayed at Janet St B&B a lot over the past 18 months or so for work. It is my first choice when working in Caithness as it has a convenient central location. The rooms are comfy and well stocked with teas and coffee, bathroom facilities are great, interent and freeview? No problem. With a variety of local pubs...

Categorically the best B&B I've ever stayed in! Very welcoming and accommodating, and an extremely pleasant family. I'd thoroughly recommend it to any business traveler, and will certainly be returning at my next opportunity!

Fantastic B&B in the best location. I've stayed here a number of times and I'm always so well looked after during my stays. Thurso is a great spot for surfing and while the water may be cold this B&B is nothing but warm and welcoming. Thank you guys so much :-)

I have stayed at this great B&B twice now and each visit has been such a pleasure. The family are so welcoming and Catriona is such a friendly host without being overly intrusive. Rooms are fresh and clean. Breakfasts are excellent, well prepared using fresh produce. I highly recommend staying here if you are ever in Thurso.
