Was travelling in a motorhome in the North of Scotland and the weather had not been kind to us so we decided to look for something with a little more comfort for 1 night this was well worth the stop, nice cheery face at the reception, room was well laid out nice and big, the food was also very enjoyable...

The Queens hotel/pub was comfortable if basic and clean. The rooms are above the pub which was noisy on the first night, a sunday. We didn't eat at the pub as the food was very much "pub" food and we wanted the Scottish experience.

Great food. Room had nowhere to hang your clothes, Wi-Fi was slow and intermittent across all devices and location (bar, lounge and rooms). Coupled with no 4G on the phone made communications difficult. Staff were on the whole helpful. I stayed in better 4* hotel for less money. Wick doesn't have one.

Had a family room here while cycling NC500. Our rooms was very large, and considerably nicer than other rooms we had had on our trip. Breakfast was nicely prepared, but having to make your own toast is a bit of a pain. Nice place, well positioned on the main road and an easy walk into town, but it's expensive.

No staff at hotel during the night. Phone to call for help if you have a phone. Room good and also the food. Very friendly and helpful. Could not stay a second night as no spare rooms. Went to Mackays for second night. Wish we could have stayed a second night there.

We stayed one night in this traditional, friendly and comfortable hotel. Dinner was tasty and good quality and the staff were all very chatty and helpful. Our room was large, clean and very pleasant. A good base for this lovely part of Scotland.

Didn't stay in hotel but had very good evening meal in the lounge. Quick, efficient, friendly service. Barmaid (Dinese?) never stopped running after everyone. We had four good meals from good menu at good value prices. Easy access from main road and free off street parking. Locals in bar were lively providing free entertainment. Definitely stop again when in area.

Stayed here during February 2016 on business for 3 nights and the staff made me feel very welcome! They would go out their way to look after me. The room was well cleaned and tidy, the food was great too! Couldn't fault my stay! Will definitely be back! Thanks again!

I stayed at this hotel with my friend as we were going to a party in Wick that night. We were greeted by a lovely helpful receptionist, who showed us to our room. At first glance the room looked rather pleasing, but we found several faults that we feel could be vastly improved. The beds were really uncomfortable, rock hard...
