A beautiful guest house just as you get into Wick, couldn't be easier to find. We were greeted by Graeme and the dog back from a walk and once we had unloaded the car Graeme showed us to our delightful room and spent ten minutes chatting to us which was lovely. We then headed into Wick to find a chip shop (to no avail) so we settled for a chinese. Once we got back we met Lydia who supplied us with some warmed plates and showed us to the breakfast room where she turned alexa on and had a chat to us before we sat and ate. A more welcoming couple and guest house you won't find. A great first stop on our NC500 trip and definitely a place we'll be sure to visit again. Many thanks Andy & Janine - Redditch
My wife and I stopped here for one night on the way to The Orkney Islands. The location is in the outskirts of Wick and easily found. Graham and his wife were great hosts and very friendly, giving us advice on our stop in Wick and Orkney. The B & B was lovely and spotlessly clean, with some nice little touches. The breakfast in the morning was plentiful and good quality. Overall a great place to stay and if in the area again we’ll be back to stop again.
We stayed as a couple for one night, Saturday 3rd October as part of NC500, couldn’t find fault with it at all. Very clean and comfortable accommodation, nice quiet room and we were able to park on the hosts driveway. The hosts are very good with the Covid rules, lovely cooked breakfast with allocated time slot to maintain distancing from other guests, and they have the cutest dog!!
Excellent B&B, friendly reception, bright and spacious room, very clean and Covid conscious, excellent hearty breakfast, the salmon and scrambled eggs on brioche toast was delicious, situated on A99 so ideal for NC500 route and within walking distance of town centre amenities and sites, would definitely recommend.
Lovely B&B with very nice owners. Excellent breakfast in a good location. Rooms were spotless and we were met and asked to follow all covid guidelines on arrival. Our room was cosy with added extras to make you feel welcome. If going to Wick would recommend. Only slight moan was that the walls were a bit thin which meant us waking up early when other guests left early due to noise.
