Just back after a two nights stay with my best friend! What a lovely apartment and Alexis was very accommodating!!! Nothing was too much trouble, and a wonderful continental breakfast was available for both mornings, including a wee bottle of Prosecco each ( can’t go wrong). Apartment was immaculate and everything was perfect! Over and above the lovely accommodation, meeting Rosco was the finishing touch- he’s a cutie!!! Thanks Alexis and family, we will be back!!!
Just recently stayed here from Sat until today the 22nd Sept. The apartment was lovely, spacious and very clean. When my sister and I arrived in the kitchen there was a choice of different cereals, jams, marmalade, in a little basket on top of the microwave, there was fresh bread, fresh fruit, tea and Coffee. In the fridge there was butter, cheese, milk, bottles of fresh water in nice glass bottles, orange juice and yogurt. Totally unexpected and a nice surprise, a nice touch which made you feel very welcome. The apartment was lovely and cosy too. It's located in a nice quiet area of Inverness and a 5 minute walk to the city centre. There was also a toaster, kettle, washing machine, hairdryer, Iron, Iron board. There is also a nice private garden at the back. What more could you ask for, I really enjoyed my stay here and would most definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend it.…
Lovely apartment, decorated and provisioned to a very high standard. Key in a lock box. Outside terrace was lovely. Breakfast supplies and toiletries were excellent and the Prosecco and Whisky was a nice touch. Short walk into Inverness which is a beautiful city.
We stayed here on Hogmanay and have to say we’re very impressed. Lovely annexe on the back of this B&B with great kitchen, shower room and bedroom. All of which were very clean, Alexis and her husband were very friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we came in. We also got a small present for Hogmanay a miniature bottle of whiskey and gin. Only a ten minute walk from the city centre makes this place an ideal place to stay. We would definitely return Thanks again.
We enjoyed our stay here! The room is an extension of the owner Alexis’ house, and it’s like a little studio apartment with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. We’ve stayed in London, Edinburgh and Aviemore on this trip, and we liked staying at Sandwood best. But it’s more than having comparatively more (very clean) space, it’s the attention to detail. Anything you could need to make your stay comfortable is in the room - mini fridge, kettle, microwave, flatware and cutlery, iron, hair dryer, toiletries including tissue (it’s not a given in lodgings in Scotland, not sure why?) - and a washer, which we were so thankful for. She cooks a good breakfast for you each morning, after you select what you want the night before, served on a dining table with proper linen. Since there’s only one room with two beds, I’d think you’d have to book early to get it. …
