My husband and I recently stayed at the Silverstrands Guest house and we loved it! Kenny, the owner met us as soon as we arrived and made us feel very welcomed. He gave us suggestions as to what to see and do around town and was very personable. Our room was small but very cozy. I highly recommend this place for a night or for a week! The breakfast was delicious!

We were prepaid and booked here through our travel agent. Our room was small but adequate for two of us. Nowhere to really put our suitcases. We stayed for 2 nights. Highlight was breakfast with Kenny and his wife. Great food and conversation. We loved the location and walked all over Inverness from here. Would definitely return.

What an absolute find! We loved our 3 night stay at Silverstrands. Kenny and Dorothy were warm and welcoming hosts; nothing was too much trouble - from cooked breakfast daily (go the full Scottish!) to driving/weather/restaurant tips. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. The little touches - water, tea, kettle refilled and biscuits replenished in our rooms daily) were very thoughtful and appreciated. On street parking was readily available (be sure to ask for a permit from Kenny!) and the guesthouse itself is located on a quiet street and an easy 10 minute walk into town. We would highly recommend Silverstrands and would most definitely stay again on any future trips to Inverness.

What an absolute treat! Kenny was a super host, caring and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Silverstrands is a beautiful short walk into the village and very convenient. Kenny's breakfasts were simply amazing with a large variety of hot and cold food choices. Seeing him dressed in his kilt for breakfast was a delight. We stayed in the first room with views onto the street and although the bathroom was just down teh passage this was no inconvenience at all. Silverstrands is highly recommended.
