First things first: it was a really cheap hostel and you can't expect to much. The first problem appeared already on the booking as the hostel seems to be working under different names with different reviews - one with overall good, one with overall bad reviews. But the overall cleanliness was terrible... it just wasn't clean. Thankfully we had our...

Super friendly and helpful staff and has everything you need from a hostel. Good central location although down an alley. Bathrooms not very clean. Lack of working plugs in room meant you had to negotiate for charging time.

Stayed here on two separate occasions in June as part of trips to the highlands. This is a low-cost option and centrally located meaning it was convenient for us to stay a night here before heading over to Skye and after travelling up from Edinburgh through famous highland sites. It is an unclean, strange-smelling place with no hostel vibe or...

It was a low cost option. Wifi was poor, some power points in room didn't work (note that said they were being fixed look like it had been there for months), beds were very creaky whenever anyone moved

the place should be shut down ... we were given room 3 ... it is a health hazard with mold spores growing everywhere ... stay away.. the staff were take it or leave it ... I would be embarrassed if it was me

Cheap, friendly and clean, think it has had a revamp considering the previous reviews. Staff were friendly, rooms were fine and big plus was free wifi (which works!) and free table pool. Hostel seems a little disorganised but a nice friendly atmosphere in the common room. Location is ideal.

I booked a 16 person dorm for me, my boyfriend, and mom, and they upgraded us to a 12 person to keep us together (without extra charge). We stayed here and traveled around up north for 3 days by car; using the hostel as our base. The woman was really nice when we checked in (she gave us advice for...

I spent two nights in this hostel in a twin room with shared bathroom. The general atmosphere is not great: it's not a bad structure, but it could be managed much better. The room furniture was a bit poor; the bathrooms not very cleaned. The kitchen downstairs wasn't great either and small as well. You have a general feeling of...

Where to start ? Absolutely everything was horrible. Sheets were not clean, people at the reception not nice, bathrooms were so dirty we couldn't even think to have a shower there. Price was definitely too expensive and the place is really noisy. After dinner we come back and we found many policemen (about three) in each floor. Not really reassuring...

After reading the reviews on this place, my best friend and I were a bit skeptical to stay here (only read reviews on cleanliness and poor hygiene). Upon check in we were surprised at how clean this place was compared to what we had read. Firstly, we were put in a tiny room of 6 beds, and being the only...
