Inverness is our first stop during a trip around Highland Scotland. We stayed at The Quaich B&B for one night. Our travel agent reserved another B&B for us, however an incident by a drunk person ruined the bedrooms and the B&B owner offered us a bedroom in The Quaich B&B. The first impression of The Quaich B&B is comfortable and tidy. The bathroom is extremely clean without water stain on any surface. Our room is at attic with vaulted ceiling. The room is not big but comfortable. We had a tasteful breakfast. The B&B owner prepared toasts, pancakes and eggs, sausages are also available upen request. Fresh fruits and oatmeals are on the side tables. I was impressed by the decoration of dining room. Green wall offers a soothing background. Antique cameras are displayed in a cabinet. Brass table clock and candle holders decorated the wood mantle. The style of dining room is traditional with one touch of contemporary art work on one wall. I would like to recommend this B&B for anyone wants an enjoyable stay.

My husband and I stayed at the B&B for 3 nights. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the host is very hospitable. The breakfast is fresh with a good wholesome variety with freshly baked muffins and pancakes. 5 minutes walk to city center. And the route to the BnB is very scenic.

Our first two nights spent in Scotland we're spent with Arafeh and his family at the Quaich. Easy to book with and quick to communicate via email or phone. An easy walk from the train station, perhaps 15 minutes. Close to shopping and food as well, we enjoyed walking to everything. Host is friendly and kind. Very helpful! We discovered he used to be a tour guide so he is very willing to give you tips or places to see in the area. We enjoyed all of our conversations with him. Breakfast was pancakes, toast, cereals, ham, cheese, fruit, yogurts. Coffee and tea in rooms for personal use and replaced daily. Beds comfortable! Such a relief to get a good sleep on a comfortable bed after a long day of travel. My sister and I had a lovely view from our room at the top of the house; a little skylight window opened up with a view of residential Inverness and the mountains beyond. We did share a bathroom with other guests but my mom and granny had their own bathroom en suite. Can't wait to visit Inverness again and will definitely stay at the Quaich next time!

We had no problems finding this accommodation which was within walking distance of the city centre. The owner personally welcomed us on arrival and we were shown our upstairs room in the roof space with turret window. The room was a good size and twin beds comfortable with good pillows. The bathroom was shared and downstairs with a good shower, of average size. We paid £6.00 each for breakfast of fresh fruit, yoghurt, and there were a variety of cereals. Homemade pancakes, with honey or syrup and a cold collation of sliced cheese and ham, home made muffins and plenty of brown toast with jams. Great, personal, friendly and homely accommodation I would recommend.
