This is a gem of a Guest House in the jewelled Crown of Scotland. The car parking was very well organised and can fit up to 8 on their very well maintained drive. It was so easy to book in as all done prior. I loved the little things about this guest house, the Highland key rack, the names and room number already in place. The premises was immaculate and very Scottish themed coming up the stairs which added a lovely feel.

The room was fresh and extremely clean. Again, the little things such as the bathroom towels and toiletries were laid out beautifully including make up bands.

It is situated only a short walk from the city centre so perfect for a walk for food and drinks.

The dining room was very well set up and food was ready within minutes. After we had eaten, David and Roberto spent time with myself and my husband to find out where we had been and where we were intending to go. David then supplied printed information about local attractions and on route to Edinburgh.

Finally as a thoughtful touch we were given 2 shortbread fingers packaged within a clear bag from David and Roberta.

I would whole heartedly recommend this guesthouse as the hosts absolutely went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable with a friendly Scottish welcome!

Aye Stay is exceptional accommodation in Inverness. Really outstanding. We were a group of 9 on a complex charity run/cycle event around the NC500 and needed an initial comfortable, flexible and friendly base to start our journey in Inverness. Aye Stay was all these things and more. Conveniently located for the town (less than half a mile walk to the centre) but in a lovely quiet area, the rooms and public areas are newly decorated, beds comfortable, bathrooms clean, and breakfasts plentiful with lots of imaginative touches - square sausages and Nessie tea infusers! We reserved the rooms months in advance and Roberta was incredibly helpful with our ever-changing needs and made useful suggestions as to how we could make the most of our stay. We would return in a flash - thanks so much Aye Stay!

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. David & his wife were both warm and welcoming, the rooms were clean and very comfortable with a very good shower, which was very well received after being on a motorbike all day! We stayed with some other biker friends as we were doing the NC500 and they gave us lots of helpful tips. The breakfast was so nice, you made your choices the night before and it was freshly cooked to order and came complete with a Nessie tea infuser!!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

We stayed here for one evening before beginning the NC500 and loved it. The beds are so lovely and comfy, we didn't want to leave! The B&B is lovely, very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were so warm and friendly with us, offering us tips for where to eat locally, and even advice for our road trip. The breakfast is spectacular and very generous! I couldn't believe how much food we were given - and included in the price of the stay - you certainly won't be leaving here hungry! Aye Stay is also in a great location, nice and quiet but just a short walk away from the city centre where theres many restaurants to choose from. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Inverness to stay here.

Absolutely loved our recent visit to Aye Stay! They have managed to maintain a very high standard despite COVID 19. The room was very clean and nicely decorated by Roberta. The en suite is a good size and has everything you need (shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel). The breakfast is lovely and very nicely presented! Parking is also convenient. David and Roberta are wonderful and give great recommendations about what to do in and around Inverness! I would definitely recommend staying here!!

From the moment we walked in the door, we were delighted that we had picked Aye Stay! A lovely enclosed front porch for sitting and relaxing, another cozy room on the first floor to sit and peruse the informational materials left for our convenience and a contactless check-in protocol, which was perfect! We were a family group of 8 and we booked 3 rooms, 2 rooms with double beds for 4 of us and a great family suite with a double and 2 twins for 2 adults and 2 kids. The en suite rooms were immaculate and provided everything you would need, including a TV. The bathrooms, though small, were more than adequate and the showers were great, something we did not find in every place that we stayed. Breakfast must be ordered by 9PM the night prior. It is all done online, very easy, and there were many options to choose from, a full Scottish breakfast being one of them. The food was delicious and cooked to order. The dining room itself was spacious, bright and airy. The location was convenient to the downtown area, just a short walk (5-10 min) to restaurants, book store, etc. We loved Aye Stay!

We visited the Aye Stay during August at the beginning of our NC500 trip touring the Highlands. The room we had was spotlessly clean and was a good size for two couples. It is in a great location close to the river and was a short walk to plenty of nice bars and restaurants, with a Tesco nearby as well. The breakfast we had was fantastic and was made specifically to order, David and Roberta greeted us at breakfast and were incredibly friendly and welcoming, they also gave us a number of tips for our trip ahead. The unique contactless check in/check out system was seamless and could not have been easier.

I would definitely stay here again if I was in the Inverness area and would recommend for anyone embarking on the NC500.

A very cozy and welcoming home, with
wonderful hosts. The room was
spotless, with a variety of small
delicated details.
To start a good day, they provide a
tasteful and generous breakfast, with
many options you can choose from.
The house is located in a quiet
neighborhood, and it has the bonus to
be in a walking distance from the
centre.

This excellent B&B is a short 15 minute walk from the river Ness and city centre, though you would never know it - it was so quiet! We stayed for two night during a 5 day Heart of Scotland tour. Our hosts were friendly, accommodating and non intrusive, really lovely people. The room was gorgeous! Spacious , very well presented with all the usual facilities and comfy beds. The care and attention put into the décor of all the guest areas didn't go unnoticed, very stylish and tasteful. The breakfast was excellent, and ample of it. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time I'm in Inverness.

Absolutely stunning! We stayed in the family room - such a treat for a family of 4 to have 3 beds in one room and not do the multiple room, kid shuffle.

Lovely - from the moment you walk in, it is warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated.

A few notes:
Easy seamless, self check in (communication was excellent, easy to follow directions and the room was perfectly appointed)
A nice selection of soaps, shampoos, hand soap in the washroom.
Beds are comfy and a large selection of pillows (fluffy, flat, whatever you want! Extras in the closet)
Breakfast is preordered the night ahead and was wonderful. Croissants are baked to order, yogurt is fresh (best yogurt of our trip, so good!) and the Scottish breakfast was cooked to order.

Overall this is a 5+ star - service was impeccable and the accommodations stunning. Highly recommend!
