Loved the place, so happy and personal and with Scottish history details all over. The salon had books and brochures about places to see in Scotland and Doug gave us plenty of guidance in routes to take when we continued our journey. Elizabeth sent me my wool socks that I had forgotten in the room - shows just how dedicated they are to keep a good care of their guests. If you ever go to Inverness, stay here!

Elizabeth and Doug were amazing hosts and made my mum and I feel very welcome. Oakvilla is charming and all the rooms are beautifully decorated. The location is perfect too, it's about a 10 minute walk to get to the city centre along the River Ness. My mum and I stayed in the MacDonald twin room and were there for 3 nights. The room was very comfortable and spotless, it was a haven after long days out doing tours. We are both gluten-free, Doug made sure we had something nice for breakfast each day. Doug and Elizabeth really made our visit to Inverness special.

Oakvilla is owned and run by Doug & Liz who both spare no effort to make everyone welcome and comfortable. All rooms are individually, tastefully appointed and kept immaculate. The establishment is so close to so many good pubs/restaurants and a 15 minute walk from the city centre. We would fully recommend this excellent B&B to all.....

Oakvilla Guesthouse is lovingly owned and run by Elizabeth and Doug who both take pride in their beautiful home. We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the street and gave us lovely views of the neighbouring houses, the room was spotless clean and had an en-suite as well as hanging space and comfy chairs to relax in. The house is situated about a 10 minute flat walk to the centre of the city an their is a great pub not far away as well. Breakfast was provided each day and it was a joy to stay there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay last week at the beautiful Oakvilla. Elizabeth and Douglas showed us every hospitality. From the booking to the check out they were incredibly responsive and accommodating. their home is impeccable and lovely down to the smallest detail. We could not have had a more pleasant stay. We highly recommend Oakvilla to anyone planning to spend time in Inverness or the surrounding area.
