Had a fabulous time in this very central apartment building. Reception staff were charming and couldn’t have been more helpful. We even got into our apartment early, which was much appreciated. The apartment itself was beautiful, very clean, warm, with masses of space. Beds very comfortable. The apartment was very secure and it was obvious that Covid guidelines were being followed which made us feel very safe.

We have stayed before - a few years ago. It’s was just as good second time around. The team were great We had to change the booking and they made it easy. Check in was straight forward and safe. Parking nearby Accommodation clean and to a good standard. Central location and great place to have a few days in Inverness. Will use City Suites again.

This is smack bang in the middle of town. My only negative is that there was no parking right there, but a short walk to the car park which is in a shopping center which closes at 9pm and you are unable to access in/out between 9pm-6am (the night we missed getting in, we parked up at the castle on free street parking, which at 8am I paid for 2 hours via an app). But onto the good stuff. Comfortable and very large apartment, with large fully fitted kitchen, dining area, living area and bathrooms. Our two bedroom apartment had two larger shower/bathrooms. Despite the noise from the outside, once the double windows were closed in the bedrooms it was quiet and slept well. Loved the fully stocked kitchen as we cooked two nights. Internet was good. DVD's to borrow. All very good. Only saw the staff member a few times, and all good there also. Recommended!

We have stayed for 2 days in the Inverness city suites. And booked 2 apartments. At first the apartment’s seemed fine, although we had quite some noice disturbance. When we left and we put our keys in the boxes a man came up to us. He told us that for one apartment we had to put an extra key in the box. However for one apartment we received only one key and for the other apartment there was an extra key on the table. We told him this, and explained that it was quite annoying that we had to share the key with 6 people. He immediately falsely accused us of stealing the extra key. (Why would we want to keep that key in the first place?!). We once more explained that in the other apartment an extra key was laying on the table, but that we did not find a key in this apartment. We told him that it was also a bit weird that no one explained us where we could find the extra key, and that there was no note with information about the apartment (since no one was there when we arrived due to corona). He then got extremely arrogant and narcotic and told us that he would charge the costs of the keys, eventhough we never had te keys. Obviously we got annoyed and told him he should not act this way to his guests, since their would be a chance that he was wrong. When we were getting ready to get in the car he suddenly came up to us with the extra key?! He blamed us that it was all the time in a draw under some sort of the desk.. I asked him how we should have known this, since there was no note and in the other apartment the extra key was on the table. I also asked for an apology since he falsely accused us of stealing or loosing the key. Well he just laughed and said it was our fault and he was right the whole time. This man is extremely arrogant and narcotic and not suitable for this job. I believe you should never act this way to your guests and at least apologize when you are wrong. In summary if you want to have a nice experience in Inverness you should never ever stay in this apartment. You could get falsely accused any time and he would charge you without any explanation. For the same money or even less you could stay in a nicer place with most importantly nicer people.

Dear Rita It is truly unfortunate that this incident escalated to this level and disappointing that it spoiled, what you had said, was a very enjoyable stay at the apartments. My intention had only been to indicate two sets of keys had been issued and only one set had been returned; we knew this from our records. The security and safety of our guests is paramount and this is why the return of key sets is so important. Our procedure is to place a set of keys in the lock box and a set on the desk in your apartment beside the Guest Information Directory. As you were loading your vehicle to depart, I went to check the apartment myself and found the second set of keys inside the Guest Information Directory; this is normally left open! It was apparent to me then that you may not have seen the second set of keys and so I came downstairs to explain this. In my defence; it is very difficult to communicate with a group of individuals, all wishing to have their say, and not helped when comments are being made between the group in a different language. I do apologise if I appeared arrogant this was certainly not intentional. In truth, I was astonished at how quickly this escalated and shocked at the way I was being spoken to. We can all learn from these situations; we have recently changed our procedures to minimise guest contact during the COVID pandemic and perhaps we can fine tune this further to ensure this mornings issue is not repeated. We wish you well and hope you enjoy the remainder of your holiday. Garry W Dinnes Managing Director Edit Remove
