Really nice day, great location only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Inverness, the hotel room itself was very clean, with a fantastic large bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was very nice, with a wide choice on the menu, they were also very accommodating so we’re more than happy for you to select whatever you wanted off the breakfast menu. We did find a room to be very hot, but this was most likely down to the fact that we stayed on a very hot weekend, and therefore the heating had been left on. I believe during summer months the heating would be adjusted for this. Overall a fantastic stay, clean and in a great location 4-stars.

A centrally based hotel for the centre of Inverness, reasonably priced, our room was well equipped and comfortable. The reception is unmanned, so you will need to find someone in order to check in. A couple of other niggles, such as a very lumpy pillow, some items of clothing from a previous guest in one of the drawers, draughty old windows, and road noise from a busy crossroads outside. A notice in the bathroom says to leave the towels on the floor if you would like them changing. However, the was no maid service during our two night stay, and so the towels were still on the floor on our return, along with still full rubbish bins.

Hotel has been refurbished nicely but pity the heating in rooms doesn't work. Reported this to staff for two nights but still didn't work. Room was really cold, put me off coming here again. Breakfast was good.

We stayed at the Crown Court for 2 nights, 13th and 14th of September.
We were welcomed by the manager Michael who was extremely helpful throughout our stay.
Our room was beautifully decorated after the hotel being recently refurbished, each room also has a smart TV so we were able to log into our Netflix account to watch films. The only fault we did find with our room was the heating would not turn off so we were very hot our first night but this was no issue once mentioned to management. The manager offered us an upgrade of room for our second night at no extra cost so they could resolve the heating issue in our first room. Our new room was lovely and we got a great nights sleep.
We decided to have a meal in the hotel our first night, this was first class and the service was excellent.
We had breakfast both mornings in the hotel and it was brilliant, again staff very attentive and helpful.
All staff in the hotel are so friendly and the hotel as a whole very homely.
All regulations relating to COVID-19 are being followed in the hotel at all times so all guests and staff are comfortable.
We will most definitely be staying here whenever we return to inverness for a few nights away and have already recommended the hotel to family and friends.

We stayed in the hot tub room for 1 night. The hotel is very clean and newly upgraded. We were welcomed warmly and very pleased with our room on arrival. The room was spotless, plenty of towels, toiletries and extra pillows etc. Lovely big comfortable bed, the jacuzzi bath tub was great. The room itself is massive with a huge TV. Good WiFi signal. The hot tub is massive and very easy to use. The hot tub area in general needs completing and finishing touches added. We would suggest some frosted panels for external door, towel hooks on the wall, provide robes& slippers. A mat at the door back in to the room would also be helpful to save from slipping/ soaking the floor. Regardless we were very happy with our stay and would book again!

What a great hotel, Highly Recommend. Clean and Covid compliant. Bright Rooms, love the Mini Fridge (seems standard accross the MacAli Hotel Group) space for prosecco, beer, soft drinks and chocolate.

The staff are very friendly, welcoming, pleasant and will make your stay one of a kind.

Food is freshly made and Chef is brilliant, his singing could be improved haha but his cooking is fantastic, ingredients fresh.

Big thank you to the young lad very professional at what you do, all staff well presented.

Free car parking, and a nice decking area outside which lights up and heats up with garden heaters.

Our room had a shower, very powerful nice and hot none of this drizzly water it was power shower, crisp clean towels. Bright bathroom.

Massive TV in the room we had.

There was a digital safe in the room as well.

Wifi is fast, not a great signal but it does not affect the speed.

This hotel is one of a kind, highly recommend, this is the 2nd hotel from the MacAli Hotels Group we've stayed in and from what we're seeing they are the best.

Highly recomended could not fault them at all

We will be back. 10/10 keep doing what you're doing

Stopped in here while walking around the crown area. Recently going thru a refurbishment and what an improvement. Decor is very nice. Straight away when you cross the doors the hotel has Covid procedures with sanitizing stations and screens in place. All team were wearing masks at all times.
The coffees ☕☕ were ready promptly and served to our table. The managed on duty Michael was very pleasant and chatty. Worth a visit. Next time we venture in we will be having dinner to try out there menu 😀

Me and my partner arrived a bit early before check in, the only staff member that was available was and 18 year old chef. We got told to come back, so we wondered about inverness for a good bit, when we came back the staff members were all sitting about on their phones. When we finally got checked in our room it was like hitting a wall of heat, 24 degrees outside and the towel heating rack was on. We couldn't sleep to whole night with the heat of the room, my partner was looking for staff members, but there was none to be found, not even a night porter. The next morning we headed down for breakfast, my partner had a continental breakfast, I wasn't that hungry so I just had a roll with a sausage and black pudding, small glass of apple juice. I only ate half the roll as it was really dry. When it came to pay the bill, we got charged 18.99, 10 pounds of that bill was for half a dry breakfast roll and an apple juice. I question the staff member about the ridiculous price to which she replied. "It's part of the big breakfast since I had two items from the list" day light robbery! The hotel is over priced for a very basic underwhelming hotel, staff were incompetent and ran by teenagers.

We were unfortunate enough to stay here. We booked through Bookings.Com 7 months prior. On our arrival the receptionist (once we found one) couldn’t have been less helpful, and her only concern was about getting payment in full! We stayed in room 15, which the manager later confirmed is the last room in the hotel that they allocate due to its location. The room is basic in the extreme, and in no way could be described as a deluxe king room as they market it. The TV does not receive a signal, 1 chair for 2 people, very tired uncomfortable bed, window which cannot be closed properly and situated next to busy road and pedestrian crossing which beeps all night, bathroom shelf sits at a 45 degree angle, so anything you put on it immediately falls in the wash basin, 1/2 toilet roll per stay, no spares. But the icing on the cake was when opening the fridge, we were presented with a half tin of rotting dog food which had been left by a previous resident? All surfaces covered in dust. No apologies when we complained. We stayed as we were going to a concert, upon returning to the hotel at 22.45 there were no bar facilities, and when complaining to the manager he stated although he has a license to 1AM, he closes the bar whenever he decides too! When we spoke to the manager he was not interested in any of our complaints, or offered any explanation for the poor room or service. We were charged £169.99 for this tired room, no breakfast, room only. The rest of the hotel which we saw, was the same, characterless and tired. To sum up, without doubt the worst hotel we have stayed in and definitely not one to recommend. I would have given it no stars, but the review would not allow that, so had to award 1 star, but not even worth 1 star.

We booked to stay at the hotel for one night in September as we were travelling from Inverness to The Orkney Isles. It had just been renovated to a very high standard and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly the manager, Michael. The food in the Bistro was delicious and We enjoyed our Stay here so much that we booked another night on our return trip back home. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I'm sorry, this message only just came through. Our room was ok for two people. A lot of extraneous furniture taking up space. If they have a family room, it might work. Staircases only.
