Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really convenient, comfortable room. Bath as well as shower which is super and helped us to warm up after the journey. No problem having the elderly labrador with us. Great stop off on the way to Lewis. Pleasant pub in easy walking distance for an evening meal.

Stayed here a couple times now, definitely one of the better travelodges that I've stayed at, nice clean family room thanks to Jeff. Lovely staff, WiFi works great, beds very comfortable. Close to local amenities, easy to find. Spacious car park. Does the job.

Comfortable stay for few nights. The hotel was very clean, everything what we needed was provided to us. Hair dryer wasn’t at the room but we got it from the reception for all stay. Price/expectation value is reasonable. Very nice and friendly Manager Aga. Helpful stuff. I definitely recommend.

Clean, comfy bed, but room was cold and bathroom fan didn’t go off all night. Sn extra blanket could be provided along with the pillows that were there Very basic, but felt safe during my stay Off the 3 travel lodges that are within a short distance of each other they are all much of a muchness. Wouldn’t want to be paying anymore though!!

The worst ever. On arrival the reception area smelt strongly of body odour. The receptionist looked untidy and his clothes looked like he had slept in them. When we got to our room we decided to have a cup of tea. Then the problems started. We had been left with dirty cups. On checking the bed the sheets were blood stained and had obviously not been changed as they were all crinkled. I went to reception to complain and was told that the cleaning company often supplied stained sheets. If this is the case they should look at changing the laundry company but does not explain the dirty cups or the rubbish on the floor. Eventually he agreed to give us a different room. I have tried to contact Travelodge to complain but have not managed to speak to anyone yet.

As expected from a Travelodge the room was clean and tidy and this was the same as the bathroom. I'm not a fan of baths but at least it was in good condition. The Staff are genually very polite and helpful especial when needing local information.
