We were made to feel at home for the minute we stepped inside.
Hand sanitiser available on entry and also a bottle in your room.
Room facilities were fine for the one night that we stayed.
Fresh bottles of water in the mini fridge and fresh mink was a big bonus.
Very large toilet with a good shower.
Very comfy bed.
Small tv but who needs a tv when your on holiday. Breakfast was huge... definitely set us up right for the journey home.
Highly recommend!
Thank you for having us and making us feel safe during these very unsettling times.
They both really went out of their way to accommodate our needs and we are most grateful.
Our room was lovely and we just wish we could have spent more time there.
The host Gail is very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and amenities, she can guide you to local hidden gems. Gail will advise on suitable places to eat or accommodate you eating a takeaway in if that's your choice. The room I stayed in was well appointed, very comfortable beds and pillows. The ensuite shower room has a good shower and heated towel rail. The room was really warm and cosy in February.
I highly recommend Dionard Guest house for a stay and I look forward to staying there again.
The Dionard is located within easy walking distance of the centre of Inverness; we could and did walk to two good restaurants within 10 minutes. Our room was enormous’ A couple of folded beds suggested that it is available as a family room; sometimes you get lucky. The condition was excellent and there was plenty of storage space. Breakfast is in two sittings, with orders for cooked items submitted the night before (though with a buffet for fruit, cereals, etc); the advantage of this is that everything is cooked and served absolutely fresh, and is excellent. While there are times for corporate predictability, on holiday, this is what I want to find.
We had a great evening meal and watched the football. First time in a B&B and this made me not want to stay in a hotel chain again.
Breakfast was lovely home-cooked food. Only a short visit but we loved our stay :)
