A really great b&b. We stayed in the twin room - plenty space in the room, lots of clothes storage space (which is unusual), comfortable beds, piping hot water, immaculately clean, good breakfast, and welcoming knowledgeable hosts. Really, couldn’t ask for better.

I stayed at the Gatehouse for a couple of nights with my wife and we absolutely loved the place. The owner welcomed us when we arrived at the property and showed us to our room. The room was a lovely room in the traditional house but with a modern and stylish en-suite and furniture. The gatehouse is located about 20 min walk from the centre of town and it was nice to walk there in the summer evening for dinner. In the morning we were impressed with the high quality breakfast that took account of our dietary needs. Will definitely stay again when we next visit inverness.

The hosts of this B&B are very friendly and accommodating. This property is extremely clean and centrally located. The cooked-to-order breakfast was very good and the beds were the most comfortable we’ve had during our entire visit to Scotland. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for two nights at the Gatehouse in room no. 2. The room was up a few stairs which presented a challenge for carrying our bags up. It was one of the smaller rooms that we stayed in on our trip. A bit awkward finding places for a few large luggage cases and accessories. A large comfortable bed and a nicely arranged compact en-suite. Very good fast wifi was one of the best we experienced. One of the best cooked to order breakfasts we had as well. Great hosts Caroline and Ranald were welcoming and informative with regards to local attractions, road trip to Ullapool and booking a taxi etc. Free parking was conveniently located behind the Gatehouse.

The hosts were lovely and made one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. The rooms are very nice and the location is quiet, but not too far from the city center. If you find yourself in Inverness this place is a gem.
