Our location on the main A82 tourist route means you are within easy reach of many places to visit such as the famous Loch Ness, just a few minutes away. Our en-suite guest rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything you'll need for a pleasurable stay. Avalon provides free wireless internet and has a large private car park for guests. The city centre is a 15 minute walk but is very pretty as you walk along the River Ness.Avalon have just recently refurbished all of their guest rooms please have a look at the updated photos.

The Avalon was so clean and the host were very friendly, we were a 15/20 min walk to main shopping Breakfast was great lots to choose from cereal or cooked meals for breakfast . Off street parking would recommend highly

I would highly recommend this B&B, everything about our stay was spot on from arrival to departure. Very spacious room, very clean and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and very tasty. The welcome we had was second to none , we can't speak highly enough of our stay. If in Inverness this has to be the place to stay👍

Beautiful guest house, which is a short walk from the centre of Inverness. The rooms are spotless, with all the facilities you require. Very comfy beds. Had a great sleep. Lovely Breakfast good selection and a really nice couple, would definitely recommend.

We spent 2nights here in April 2023. A fantastic guesthouse which is modern and very well furnished with tasteful touches throughout. The hosts Val and Paul engaged, at just the right level, with all guests. Their service was excellent (anyone who gets up at 0430 to make breakfast for their cycling guests deserves praise). Good location, only 15 minute stroll into centre. (Go down to the riverside and walk in that way). There is very ample car parking on site. Highly recommended and we will return.

Excellent, spotlessly clean guest house. Beautifully decorated throughout. The hosts Val and Paul were very friendly and informative about the area and which restaurants were good. location is very good for traveling to fort william, ullapool, or to inverness city centre, biggest parking area i've seen @ any guest house period. this is my second visit this year to avalon, i had the same room as previous visit the small double @ the front of this large modern house, room is beautifully decorated with a generous sized spotlessly clean bathroom, bed is super comfy, & you have a mini fridge!! val & paul obviously take pride in there guest house & it certainly shows from the moment you walk in the front door, forgot to mention dining area & breafast are exellent!! this for me is 5* luxury @ 3* prices .

The Avalon guest house was a great place to stay in Inverness. It is an easy walk to the river and to the shops and restaurants. Val and Paul were so welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of parking available.

We had a lovely 2 night day with Val and Paul who are great,friendly hosts.A beautiful,immaculately clean guest house with lots of parking,gorgeous room,excellent breakfast with lots of choice,would highly recommend if visiting Inverness!

Guest house felt like home. Lots of nice touches in the room and also in the hall and lounge area. Bed was v comfortable. Good quality toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was really good. As I was going on day tours before breakfast was served on most days, I was given a cold breakfast and a smoked salmon bagel in the fridge in my room the night before which was much appreciated. It takes 20 to 25 minutes to walk into town from the property.
