Guisachan is a superb place to stay. The building is beautifully presented and close to everything. My room was clean, quiet, and well-appointed. I had a front room with a view of the Loch. And there is a comfortable guest lounge.
The shower was brilliant - great pressure and HOT water. Too many B&B’s have poor showers, but not Guisachan.
The full breakfast was amazingly good too, I’ve never tasted better bacon or pork sausages. Buffet, so you could eat your fill.
Finally, the staff. Friendly, very professional, and quite happy to assist this old man get his luggage up the stairs.
I cannot speak too highly of Guisachan. If I ever return to Fort William this would be my first choice.

The guesthouse is in the great location, center of fort William, literally less than 5 minutes walk from bus station, train station and town center. It’s up on a small hill so great view overlooking a lake (loch as they call it up there) and mountains range.
The room was comfortable and cozy just what we needed after a long day travelling .
The staffs are really friendly and helpful, the included breakfast was really good as well. They really went an extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Also, they have done a great job with all the covid-19 control. They have hand sanitisers stations located as all doors and the tables in communal areas and breakfast room are organised in social distancing measure.

One of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in, great room, (room 6) fantastic view, great bar (good local beer) fantastic breakfast, sat outside in the covered area lovely views of their well maintained garden and the bay. Phil and Carmen are nice people Phil helped me set up the panniers on my hired bike and provided secure dry storage. Within easy reach of Bus and Train Stations Ideal for the start or end of a Great Glenn adventure.

I can't praise this place enough! We decided to go to Fort William for my birthday and we booked the family room and dinner; breakfast was included in the price. I have to say that the food was amazing and they catered for all of our needs (one gluten free and one pescetarian in the group) without any problems. I am used to restaurants not having much on offer (expecially for somebody with food intolerances) but the owners, Carmen and Phil, provided us with an excellent menu and fantastic quality food, thank you :) The room was modern, really clean and had every facility you could need. Also, the beds were reeeeeally comfy. They also have heated drying facilities for your boots and other equiptment, which is a bonus. I can only say thank you for your warm hospitality, for a wonderful stay and we will be back again :)

Stopped here due to riding the Jacobite train. The staff at the hotel could not do enough for us. We arrived early and as there was no one in the room the day before we were able to check in at 2pm 2 hours earlier than planned. Due to COVID 19 we were given a breakfast request form with every option you could want. The room was a tad small but had everything you could want and were very clean, even a pack of antibacterial wipes were provided. Breakfast was fine, staff were great and the view is magnificent. Lovely little hotel with an unrivalled view and great service.

This was a last minute reservation for me. Stayed there 2 nights after walking the West Highland Way and absolutely loved my stay. The bedroom and shower as well as all other areas in the guesthouse were immaculately clean, elegantly styled with real quality shining through in every aspect. The breakfast food quality was the best I have had too. Very relaxing ambience and welcoming hosts- would definitely come back and highly recommend.

I've never stayed in a guesthouse before, but I was pleasantly surprised. The owners Phil and carmen are so friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse sits on a small but steep hill. It's spotlessly clean, lovely views due to being on that hill. Lots of extras from the minute you walk threw the door like a boot rack, a drying room for hikers clothes, fluffy throws for when your on the patio if it gets chilly, cushions for the patio table/ chairs, patio heater. Good covid precautions, more hand sanitizer than the whole of fort William could use. Highland soap company toiletries which smelt amazing, a little pot with cotton buds/makeup removal pads, just lovely touches everywhere. The bedroom was again spotless and had everything you need. Breakfast is ordered the night before , you sit down and everything is bought to your table, juices, cereal, toast, yogurts, fruit and a cooked breakfast you definitely won't go out for the day hungry. Perfect position for walking Into the town/train station, and if your driving only 10 mins from neptunes staircase, then on as far as you want to go. All staff are so friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend this guesthouse and we will be back

Booking is done direct with the hotel website under non-refundable policy. Prior to our trip to Isle of Skye, we booked for one night stay as a trial as we will return later to Fort William for another two nights. We like the location of the hotel very much which situates on a slightly higher ground with seaview from the carpark and the breakfast room. The high street where a good number of restaurants are located is within walking distance. The breakfast is of buffet style of very good quality. Probably it is one of the best we can find with the price we pay. The room we have in the Annex is however rather basic, somewhat small and sound proofing is non-existent. If the location sounds suitable to you, this should remain a very good option for you.

Dear Vrkung Thanks for your review of the guesthouse. Our guesthouse has three stars through Visit Scotland. That means that rooms aren't luxurious as you need to aim for four stars or more to get that. Most of our guests arrive here having walked the West Highland Way. they want a reasonable price, a comfortable bed & a good breakfast. That's what we are aiming to achieve. Kind regards Phill

A most welcoming place to stay. Owners were so very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate special requests. As a small group we decided to have an evening 'picnic' and they were happy to provide plates and room in their lounge etc. Drinks from the in-house bar made for a very special time. Rooms are lovely, warm and well maintained while breakfast was plentiful and buffet style ensuring more of what you like and less of that you don't. Well done to everyone there - book this B&B if staying in Fort William.

We stayed at Guisachan for 3 nights. Our room, which was really lovely and spacious, overlooked Loch Linnhe and the mountains. The guest house is very well located, just a few minutes walk from the train station. The breakfast even though served at the table, was a huge, delicious spread, including Scottish specialties like haggis and tattie scones. Carmen, Phill and their entire staff are very hospitable and gave us some great recommendations for walks/sightseeing around Fort William. The toiletries provided were all organic, which was a pleasant surprise.

Our only very minor issue was that we could hear the couple talking in the next-door room, which made it quite difficult to sleep on the first night. The talking resumed very early next morning too. However, we were too tired from our hikes the next 3 days to hear anything. Some soundproofing would really help.

We loved the sitout area/lounge and the dining area. The views are amazing! We would very highly recommend Phill and Carmen's wonderful retreat in Fort William!
