My husband and I spent the last couple days of our honeymoon at Kilmalyn Guest House. The room was very nice and comfortable (especially the little stove/fireplace!). Breakfast was tasty, and Norman was very easy to talk to and accommodating. We couldn't have been happier with our stay!

We stayed in Corpach for three nights. The guest house is a bit remote of Corpach 15 walk to train station. The atmosphere in that house is very familliar. The owner Are taking good Card of their guests and the room was very cosy with chimney. Though September, one day it was raining and cold, so that we made a... More

Our sat-nav had us going in circles trying to find this place. Our room was large, clean and quiet, but the home was a minimum of 15 minutes from anything we wanted to do in Fort Williams, and the stretch was not pedestrian-friendly. The first morning we were there, we were the first in the house down for breakfast -... More

Norman is really ensuring you are feeling at home in his property, a historical house from centuries ago centrally located between Glen Coe, Glen Nevis, Glenfinnan (Harry Potter viaduct and train!) and Mallaig, port to Isle of Skye. As a former ski champion and mountaineer, Norman is best placed to help you out with walks (and in winter skitours). Maps... More

Arrived very wet after climbing Ben Nevis, the room was fantastic, and the bathroom had a large roll top bath, perfect for sipping the malt and eating the shortbread that had been left for us and resting the legs. Norman put our wet things on the airer. Breakfast was great too.

Four of us stayed at the kilmalyn guest house for two nights whilst touring the west cost on our motorbikes, fantastic location with amazing views of Ben Nevis and the surrounding areas from our rooms which were spotlessly clean and very stylish the room with the four poster bed has a very large modern bathroom, not really what 4 hairy... Firstly the room we had faced the back and therefore a bit dingy and the back garden we looked out to was like a scrapyard. Unfortunately the room was so smelly of a drain problem from the bathroom that o stay was not a good experience at all. The place was clean enough and therefore I think the rooms on... More

What a lovey place. Norman was a very friendly and gracious host. Kilmalyn House has an extremely clean environment. A most fantastic typical hot Scottish breakfast was on offer. We loved the fresh eggs from their very own chicken coop. We had room 1- (street side), facing the water and the majestic mountains in the background. we had a very... More

Friendly, welcoming host and cook with an impressive Scottish skiing record! Hearty traditional breakfast to set you up for the day (recommend the 'Ben Nevis' breakfast if you're going to be hiking). Nice personal touches in the clean and individually furnished rooms, including homemade shortbread. Worth staying just outside Fort William for as you get to appreciate Ben Nevis and... More
