Had a one night stay at Torlinnhe as part of a tour of Scotland, and was far and away our favourite of the whole trip. The room was fantastic, so comfortable and all the little touches make it so special. The setting couldn't be better and we spent almost as much time sitting looking out over the loch as we did in the room.! The food was absolutely amazing and Mark just couldn't have been more helpful or attentive. His passion and pride shone through in every morsel of food that was served to us. After our meal we sat for a long time enjoying our wine and the view and felt extremely comfortable and welcome. Breakfast was again out of this world, the home-made offerings and personal touches really make this place something very special. We can't imagine ever visiting Scotland again and not staying here. We've only been home a day and are already planning our next stay at Torlinnhe.

If I could give 6 out of 5, corny as it sounds, I would. Mark went above and beyond what we expected and I’m not surprised to see he is the top rated hotel in Fort William. We stopped in 10 B&Bs during our tour of Scotland and this was top of all our experiences. My wife is dairy intolerant and Mark went out of his way to ensure Diane was catered for. The room was excellent and spotless. We also dined at the hotel and the food was the best we had and It didn’t surprise us to hear that Mark is a trained chef prior to owning this B&B

I cannot imagine this guest house could be bettered anywhere. The accommodation was so clean and thoughtfully equipped. The bed was truly comfortable and we had a choice of pillows. The bathroom was spotless and all the toiletries were locally made and very luxurious. The view is to die for- especially at sunset. But the real star of the show is the food. We ate dinner there and we’re absolutely bowled over by the quality of the cooking. Mark has had an amazing career as chef and executive chef and his talent and love of cooking meant that our meal was quite truly one of the best we have ever eaten anywhere. It is hard to express how great this place is -it’s fab, just go there!!!

It's difficult to find the words to describe the quality of Torlinnhe Guest House. Everything you read in the previous excellent reviews are true and an accurate reflection on how good this place is. What makes the place so special is Mark & Larissa, who's attention to detail with every aspect of your stay is so impressive. The quality of food is outstanding and service attentive, professional and Larissa certainly has the skills to make you feel special. This is a privately owned business and its clear to see how hard they work so please visit and experience the Torlinnhe for yourselves.

Stayed at torlinnhe overnight with some friends. The hosts were extremely flexible to our ever-changing situation. Everything about this place is well-thought through. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The food however is out of this world. I wish I had taken more photos! Absolutely exquisite salmon starter and then I had the pasta which had such an exquisite combination of flavours. Breakfast; I could have sat and eaten forever. We had ordered a hot breakfast but the extra pastries, home made preserves, pressed juice, cake were so delicious. I’ll be back!
