Stayed for one night en route to Skye. Mic house up above Fort William overlooking Loch Linhee on Union Road. The B&B is small with only 2 rooms. It is very welcoming, warm and comfortable. It's like home from home. The breakfast was ample and tasty and is served at 8.30am. I would have no hesitation in staying again and recommending to others.

A lovely place for our 2 night stay. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view across the waterfront. Ann is a perfect host serving up a fantastic breakfast which set us up for the rest of the day. Highly recommended.

We were kindly welcomes by the owner. She showed us our room en told us how things work. There was a lot to choose for breakfast. We had salmon with poached eggs on toast and a veggie breakfast. All cooked fresh and tasted very well. Ont the day of our leave we had to catch an early train (7.44). The owner was so kind to make us a take-away breakfast; sandwiches cheese, sandwiches ham, fruit a mars bar and crisps. It all tasted very well.

A wonderful two night stay at this little gem of a place. A lovely host who provides one of the most amazing breakfasts we have ever had. Spotlessly clean rooms, fluffy towels and comfy bed, you will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough to stay here and meet the lovely landlady 😊

We work in hospitality and we took a week off before the season starts to rest up before the endless days arrive and gowan Brae was the prefect spit. 2 minutes from town, parking on site, Ann is lovely. We meet her husband briefly when he was trimming the front hedge. The rooms spotless, comfortable bed, the house is beautiful, breakfast is stunning! Thank you so much for a lovely stay we shall be back soon. Trish and Dan Hoare (room 2)

Great hospitality during our short stay in June 2022 and I have no doubt that the hosts would have changed the weather if they could! We were both made to feel very welcome and the breakfast is fantastic - some square sausage even made an appearance :-) Rooms were very comfortable, spotlessly clean and with soft towels that would put many high class hotels to shame. This is not an expensive boutique B&B with all the 'modern' trappings that you pay extra for. It is a fair priced B&B that caters for hill walkers and tourists or people travelling on business. It is friendly, homely and the room at the front has views of Loch Linnhe. My double room was at the back and whilst situated above the kitchen and owners living area, that was never an issue re noise etc. The location is just 5-7 mins walk from the main street in Fort William and yet the road is quite. The location is potentially an issue if you have mobility problems after climbing Ben Nevis and are unable to make use of steps! There is a flatter road/pavement route to the town that takes 10 mins. We were given good advice on where to eat in the town - Old Deli - and ate there 2 nights of our stay, opting for the Spice Tandoori on night 3 (very popular with the locals). Summary - great little B&B and very friendly hosts. Would stay again :-)

We had a very comfortable stay at our 1 night here. Great location as very near to town but out the way on a quiet street. Had a great nights sleep and the towels were the softest ever! Breakfast was lovely too and had the best Scottish blueberry’s! Was very happy to stay and would most definitely recommend if visiting Fort William

We stayed three nights at this very welcoming and comfortable B&B. Nothing was too much trouble more like sharing a home. Breakfasts were beautifully presented and used good quality locally sources food. Poached eggs on salmon a favorite. Would be a first choice for a return visit to Fort William.

Fantastic B&B. Stayed for one night while travelling the NC500. Room was spotless and cosy, bed was very comfortable. Little touches like branded toiletries and crystal glasses made it feel extra special. The breakfast in the quaint dining room was excellent. Great views.

An amazing stay here. Fantastic accommodation - comfortable, clean and close to the centre of town. The owner was brilliant and very friendly. The food was outstanding at breakfast. Felt very safe here despite covid and the owner was very careful about cleaning etc. Would definitely return.
