Jane & Joe were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was plentiful and rooms perfectly decorated, with a quick drive into town there are plenty of restaurants and pubs to eat in and the Jacobite Train is a must when visiting Fort William. Parking onsite is an added bonus and only negative was the bed size. Would have been more comfortable if bed was a queen

The hosts are super friendly and attentive. The room and bathroom were very clean and attractive, really cozy. The breakfast room is lovingly decorated and the breakfast (continental) is delicious and varied. Overall, a great place to stay, where you can accommodate early-rising mountaineers with your own early bird breakfast :)

Jain and Joe are perfect hosts, we had a wonderful time at their guest house. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, the breakfast can be chosen between different menus (included vegetarian), the direct view on the loch is so nice and even if the guest house is near the road it is not noisy at all. You can talk about everything with Jain and Joe, they will give you advice on where to go and what to see! We will definitely come back!

Firstly the location of the property is beautiful, views onto to loch and mountain scenery are something else. Even better you get these views from the rooms and in the breakfast room. The rest of the house is wonderfully clean and tidy and filled with fresh flowers.
The spacious bedrooms are decorated beautifully and have a real homely touch to them. You have all you need in the room, from hot drinks, usb points, shampoo/conditioner, television, hairdryer and fluffy white towels.
The breakfast was fantastically made which include hot foods, as well as a help yourself to cereals, juices, pastry’s etc. The breakfast tables were set and decorated with little fresh flowers for an extra touch.
Last but not least Jane and Joe, a wonderful couple who couldn’t do enough for us. It is very obvious how much care and and how much detail they put into their guesthouse. I wouldn’t recommend anyone or anywhere else! Thank you

And don’t forget to book direct!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Hillview Guest House in July 2023. The house and gardens are immaculate, and the hosts are so welcoming and friendly. A lovely breakfast was served each morning, and the rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with the breakfast room and lounge having amazing views of Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills.

The weather was nice while we were there and it was good to relax in the garden at night watching the sun go down over the hills.

I would highly recommend staying at The Hillview Guest House.

We are a couple of Twilight travelers who enjoy relaxation and comfort when we travel.
We have stayed at the Hillview B&B on at least 6 occassions with our most recent visit departure on July 5th 2023.
What keeps bringing us back to Hillview is the wonderful location overlooking Loch Linnie in Fort William. The building has an old world charm about it. It is impecably kept by the owners. The beds are spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and everything is fresh local produce.
The comfort and surroundings are only surpassed by the hospitality of the owners.
We look forward to returning on our next visit in 2024.
I have travelled worldwide on business before my retirement and rate the Hillview B&B as a special place to return to again and again.
Thankyou once again for a lovely stay. See you in 2024 God willing.

We came here to stay for 2 nights for a short getaway to relax. Jane and Joe were absolutely lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and clean, with a stunning view of the Loch from our window. The shower faces into the room and has a glass door - though this was explained to us before we booked and not an issue as we had booked as a couple. Breakfast in the morning was brilliant, a continental spread was laid out as well as a choice from a Cooked Breakfast, Salmon and Scrambled Eggs, Pancakes and Bacon or a Vegetarian Breakfast. The Salmon was incredible! The Covid measures put in were reassuring, Sanitiser placed around the communal rooms and guidance signage in the bedroom. We noticed the standard of cleanliness after each guest left their table at breakfast was very high - everything, including the chairs, were sanitised and cleaned down thoroughly. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and amazing value for money at only £95 per night when we booked. Would definitely recommend Hillview and look forward to coming back in future!

We arrived at the guesthouse around 4PM and pulled off the main road onto the driveway area and parked up. The building has a homely feel to it, and after donning our masks and quick squirt of the hand sanitiser next to the door, I rang the bell and waited. We were promptly greeted by a warm and friendly host, suitably masked also, who beckoned us into the property and guided us to our room.
This was a clean, spacious room situated on the ground floor at the front of the property, with a double bed, en-suite, TV and a window overlooking the loch and hills.
The bed was very comfortable, allowing us to enjoy a very good nights sleep, awaking refreshed and ready for another day exploring the surrounding area. This of course was only after we had enjoyed a very tasty cooked breakfast (arranged the night before), with toast, coffee, fruit juices etc. The bathroom was very clean, with a white suite and a shower cubicle, allowing for a very enjoyable hot shower.
We had arranged a 2 night stay at Hillview, and thoroughly enjoyed both nights (and breakfasts). Having stayed in many similar establishments, I would rate this as one of the best experienced and one we would certainly look to revisit when next in the area. If you’re seeking an overnight stay in Fort William, don’t waste time looking anywhere else, just book it now.

Took us about 20 minutes to walk. But I'd take a torch as the streetlights end before you get to the house.
