Stayed for one night bed, breakfast and evening meal which was a gift. The hotel has a lot going for it, charm and character and lovely staff. It does need an upgrade though. It is charming and has character but it feels tired., threadbear carpet on the stairs, wallpaper ripped, Formica tops around the sink etc. It is very clean...

On the positive side the staff were super nice, the room was ok with a spacious bathroom and plenty of hot water, breakfast was pretty good & exceedingly plentiful (self service) and our dinner, bed and breakfast deal was very reasonably priced. Not so good - the evening meals were classic Scottish Highlands coach hotel badness - microscopic starters, weird...

Wanted somewhere on the cheaper side for one night and at £83 this fitted the bill room include breakfast for two, booked in quickly enough, room was on the first floor. Room was in need of some refurbishment looking a bit dated, but linen was fresh and clean, bathroom was no frills but spotless. Breakfast the next day was buffet...

I have eaten in the bistro two nights now, I sent a photo home the first night the tables and chairs are like phoenix nights - however, there is a waitress called Alina who single handedly turns the hotel from a coach trip tired establishment into a really nice place to be, she is simply exceptional. The food is actually...

Just back from a two day holiday at the above and can't fault it one bit as everyone of the staff were there on hand if you had and queries and the rooms clean and tidy and the dinner and breakfast were a treat. What a great location if you wanted to do the rounds which we did i.e. Portree,Kyle,Oban,and...

We made use of a Groupon deal to get accommodation, dinner, bubbles and breakfast. The room was clean, the bathroom was lovely. The food was nice, our dinner took a long time to come out but our waitress was very apologetic and friendly. Breakfast was fine, hotel buffet style. Overall this was a lovely wee break.

As part of our 50th wedding anniversary celebrations, we decided to revisit a number of the places (and where possible the hotels) where we stayed in March 1967 on our honeymoon. My wife and I endeavored to find a number of the hotels in which we had stayed so that we could revisit. Sadly, most of them no longer existed,...

Do not settle for b&b's on the way into Fort William. Try and book this place the day before. We did not book but luckily got in. It was a very small room but more than adequate. The building is lovely, clean and the staff and food fantastic. (apart from the grumpy young lady at the front desk) The restaurant...
