Walked in not really knowing what to expect. I just wanted a cold beer after a hiking up and down from Ben Nevis. I was pleased to find the staff were very friendly, the beer was reasonably priced, the food was fantastic. I recommend the Ben Nevis ally liked it inside and will definitely stay here on my next trip.... More

Stayed in bunkhouse, has everything that is essential, warm, with hot showers. Bed linen included, clean, everything ran very smoothly, no criticisms. If booking as a group would recommend booking all at same time. Ideal location at the foot of Ben nevis, drying room available which is very handy.

I rather love this place. How could you not? The bunkhouse is mellow and simply arranged. Excellant kitchen. The upstairs bar - likewise. The veg sausage & mash zoomed into my top 3 meals of all time. Location lovely. Staff mellow also. The shower compartment could have been a little better designed, but that's just quibbling, so I'll give it... More

The Inn is located at start of tourist trail to Ben Nevis it is on two levels with the Bunk house located beneath pub / restaurant which opens at midday. The Inn appears as a one room tastefully converted barn conversion on two levels with a large wood burner .There is a small but more than adequate bar. Food is excellent... More

Basic, have stayed in other youth hostels, missed having a light under the bunk for personal use, this should be standard as unfair to keep lights on if people want to sleep. Also very noisy from restaurant upstairs, if you want to get a good sleep before climbing Ben Nevis. Kitchen well equipped. Restaurant food excellent. Mixed feelings about this... More

Group of 24 of us stayed here while completing the first stage of the 3 peaks challenge. We were supposed to eat in the inn following a 7hr minibus journey but were told they had closed the kitchen and the bar. We had to make other arrangements despite the meal being booked for a considerable period of time in advance.... More

Hi Jamie, sorry that you view your experience with us like this. Just for others who may read this; what actually happened was that there was a fatality on the main road below us which lead to the road being closed from around 6pm to around 1am. Unfortunately you didn't get here until after 11pm when we close the bar... More

I was advised to go at Ben Nevis Inn for eating. I follow this advice and I do not have any regrets. The food it's really good. The staff it's all young and very kind. And all this, only in an old barn... For mountain lovers this is a great point to start your journey to the Ben Nevis.

The Bunkhouse was what I booked for 2 days... there are 3 rooms with 4 double bunks, there are no power points in the bunks (which I thought was a bit of a let down), could also do with small shelves fitted to the inside of the bunks for your smaller things like phones or tablets. apart from the little... Fairly easy booking and when people dropped out, the owner returned the funds. The accommodation was good, decent size and comfortable mattresses, decent showers and toilets. Kitchen was good size but it could of come with humidifier as it was too sultry
