Room three is right by the entrance to the hotel- no privacy. The bed is too small for an average height person 6 ft. Noisy- hot water takes an age to arrive.

Have stayed here a few times over the years. Very friendly staff and meals were excellent. Our room had magnificent views across the water. A nice room with recently upgraded en suite and lovely comfy king size bed
Stayed over during tour of west coast only had one night will visit longer next time had very comfortable room in the annexe very cosy and brilliant breakfast in the morning very good service and welcome by staff
Booked into the hotel for a two night stay. Nice rooms, nice food, great location. But open the bar when the customer wants ,not at six at night some of us want to relax in the afternoon with a cold beer

Bus depot is next to train station and complete opposite end of town from Macduff. Bus goes past hotel door. We used the normal commuter train to Mallaig (£11 return) and it also stops at the Glenfinnan tower for photos. Fish and chips very good in Mallaig station.
