Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely room, terrific breakfast. Easy walk into Ft. William and to train station to meet the Jacobite Steam Train. A little tricky to find the driveway, but that is due to drivers unaccustomed to driving on the left!

Lovely, well-cared for resting place. Beautiful garden - and friendly staff, who do everything possible to make your visit a pleasure. Great views - water and mountains. A few minutes easy walk to the main part of town. Best ever signage for communicating WIFI password. Definitely consider this option if Fort William is in your travel plans.

Lovely bed and breakfast in a historic Victorian home. We only stayed for a night but wish we’d been more! The rooms are beautiful with stunning views of the Loch. We were a group of 5 and had two rooms. The family room sleeps 3 and had a king-sized bed in one room, and a twin bed in an adjoining second room with a small bathroom. The lock was a little tricky on the door for this room, but the other was fine. Easy walk into Ft William. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Would absolutely stay again!

We stayed here for 2 nights after hiking the West Highland Way and it felt luxurious. Our room had high ceilings, a comfortable bed and big windows looking out across the beautiful front gardens to the lake. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the main tourist street and breakfast was tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall this was a great place both for rest and relaxation and to base our explorations of Fort William from.

A beautifully presented guest house with excellent quality and tasteful furnishing. Very comfortable bedroom and by far the tastiest breakfast of our week long West Highland Way adventure. Breakfast service starts very early which is great for walkers. Fantastic view of the loch. Owner went above and beyond to help us

This guest house is just a bit out of town, but worth the stroll. Very nicely appointed rooms, lovely people providing nice service, and an outstanding breakfast. Would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for comfortable rooms in Ft. William.

This property is spectacular. Meticulously maintained, and a lovely building. Perfect location...close to town. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is the best I've had in Scotland. I do not have anything negative to say.

There are so many good things to say about Myrtle Bank Guest House. The location was great with regards to walking into town for a meal and exploring. Our son and his fiance had a very nice room in the house and we had an apartment on the back of the property. It was a flat. Our place was absolutely stunning. We had a patio we could sit out on and enjoy the view. We had loads of amenities. The flat had a bedroom, dining area, kitchen, spacious bathroom, and beautifully decorated. There was an upstairs as well where the TV area was, a beautiful loft and large. In the morning we went to the main house for breakfast. Lots to choose from and delicious. We could see out to the water and there were seals swimming along. Great way to start the day. We would go back. We definitely recommend the Myrtle Bank Guest House.

American couple traveling from the UK ... what a beautiful property, both inside and out. Our room was spacious and a terrific view of the loch. The gardens were colorful. Close walk to High Street. Breakfast was wonderful. Parking on-site with plenty of room. Wish we stayed longer.
